What's a cause or issue that you've become more passionate about as you've gotten older?

For me, I'm more concerned about the income disparity in the US (but it's happening around the world as well) and how that's getting worse. I'd like to see more done for people who can't get the baseline amount of money to live. I try to support political candidates who are supporting this cause. It's something I thought less about when I was younger, thinking that things can always get better. Sometimes they can, sometimes they can't.

The reclassification of Cannabis for seniors. I've been using marijuana for fifty-two years without harmful effects I want to get stoned at least an Indica gummie at night to hold off the dreams.
Do you have bad dreams ?
Do you know something? I quit cannabis for about a month now and I’ve just started remembering my bad dreams. The dreams are so vivid and scary. I never gave it a thought that it could be a side effect of quitting cannabis.

Yes, I have terrible nightmares, I wake up not knowing who I am where I am,total confusion it makes things worse and scary terrifying actually.

As a print journalist for over 20 year, I researched & published a lot of articles on environment and related topics, including lifestyle adaptation to ecological & biospheric circumstances. After that, for seven years most of my time was spent managing a business association that was compatible with, and linked to, forestry reform.

After semi-retirement, during which I did some editing toward publication of other people's writing, I've mainly been occupied with maintaining our 8.5-acre homestead in the BC mountains. But I'm still involved with ecological stuff, as I'm a board member of a local river steward's association. We do scientific study, conservation & restoration work, and educational outreach with local schools and our community.

I’m glad it’s legal where you are.
I used to have nightmares all the time then decades ago they just stopped. Now they have come back. I’d never have thought they’d be adverse effects from quitting cannabis. Now I’m not sure what to do.
Maybe some experimenting needed. I’ve been using almost as long as you. Do you only use at night?

Well, not in here they don't want to be held liable if I get stoned and hurt myself, they won't even let me have Tylenol without a doctor's say-so. I can understand their point of view, but I've been adulting for a long time and believe that I can make decisions for myself I suppose everything has it's trade-offs.
