Fed up? Feel free to vent here, and get it off your chest!

Turn down the damn commercials. Always louder than the program, especially the Spectrum commercials. Can reach the mute button fast enough.
Unfortunately today there is no understanding of morals. I think that has resulted in us getting very cynical and distrustful. That is very bad for business and the spirit of America that was once based on being virtuous and moral.

Oh, I am so with you on this one!! Some towns nearby only get their mail once a week now! Every time I see a picture of him, he has a stupid sneer on his face. He told us he would run the Post Office into the ground .... WHY IS HE STILL THERE???? He wants the company, HE OWNS, to take over. WOW.
The reason he's still there is because it's an appointed job...and guess who appointed him. He's in it for life and can't be kicked out!

Quality news, efficient mail delivery, accurately sized clothing, correct diagnosis... how about airplanes that don't lose parts while flying?

Sounds like a lot of grumpy old people who remember the past.

If you want me to listen to your story then stick to the story.

To the people that write five hundred word post on internet forums, no one reads them.

People who actively look to be offended. Be it a sign in a street, something on Social Media, or a forum post. Everything starts at a point of confrontation, and goes down from there. If something can be read either positively, or negatively, you can bet the latter wins. Worse, they will then insist on your meaning, even over you own explanation. It's a strange world.

Patty. I don’t think you are crazy and I don’t gossip against anyone. Never did, never will. To hell with these people that give you a hard time.
My rant over.
Thank you. I’m a very paranoid person. I’m often thinking the worst when I should be thankful for still being a member here. I enjoy trying to help people. I’m not always successful but I sincerely try. Maybe annoyingly so. 🤷‍♀️ lol
Pappy! You are one of the sweetest men on here.
Thank you again.

I'm fed up being track at my every stop.

Stopped today at the local Yamaha motorsports shop to check out the various and sundry off-road products. Sort of a guy thing I do couple of times a year.

Later, getting home and checking in on the internet am flooded with off-road vehicle ads. Like how did they even know? O.K. Both cell phone was "on' and guess my 2010 Ford Explorer SportTrac has GPS? Only way I can figure my every move is being tracked.

Nothing I can do about GPS tracking on the vehicle. But am for certain turning off my cell every time leaving home. Use it only for emergencies if needed. Heck may even take out the battery. Fed up being targeted for a sales pitch every time I stop somewhere.

This was an eye opener for me. Your experience of being tracked this way, and so evidently is a little shocking. I didn't realize that the exact location and the GPS were actively engaging in transmitting your locale to businesses. It is spooky. They know you have been near one of their stores or probably in one, and then send out the advertising bot monsters everywhere to tell as many businesses to swamp you with relevant ads. This is normal? Do most people use this technology? Maybe most people just leave it up to the companies to setup their devices and such. What a different world.

I don't turn on my locale, nor do we have any GPS system. But we living in the stone age. :)

Where do I begin, I get tired of going behind people who don't do their jobs but get paid to do so!
You would not want to even get me started on this one. I agree also. I've had to do the work that others didn't in my line of work and it's maddening. It's also humiliating. And admin doesn't seem to care.

Wow @ArnoldC That's getting weird. I have heard of people with Alexa type devices in their homes and they may mention something and then they are getting ads. But even just going to a business? That is being watched and tracked.

I turn my location off and turn off tracking.
Plus I’m on a search engine that doesn’t steal my cookies and rat out where I am

I'm another one who doesn't think you're crazy. I think it's great you ask a lot of questions...inquiring minds want to know, right? :)

I'm venting for my sister who attended a "Living With Diabetes" seminar. She was told to get there at 9.30 am and morning tea will be served at 10.30 and a lunch break at 1.30. All went well until morning tea. There were so many people queueing up that by the time she got her coffee, it was cold. Same thing happened at lunch. Many greedy people taking a handful of sandwiches not leaving much for those on the end of the queue. She was disgusted and said she would never attend anything like that again. It was by invitation only, but I told her many people just go for the free food. She said I was right because by after lunch 1/2 the people left.

To the people on SF. Please give at least a vague idea where you're from, especially if you discuss local events.

"OMG - we've got a huge storm coming our way!" (Are you in Oregon, Arizona, Calgary, Ireland, Egypt, the Phillipines? 🤷‍♀️)
Nobody's going to figure out who you are or steal your identity if you say you're in the US Midwest.
Thank you !!!!! One of the most sensible posts that I've seen. And although I've tried hard, when the TV news hits on a subject from the L.A. suburbs, I always try to spot a girl in a green dress with a purple heart on the skirt, but have never had any success. 😩

This has never happened to me so I am concerned. I got an inguinal hernia last week, and called the Doc yesterday. I was told to make an appointment ASAP. So I am with the blue team of Doctors at MU Health, and the earliest is tomorrow at 9:20 am. The doctors name sounded foreign and female so I looked it up because she will be examining my groin area. The lump is right next to my *****. It is a little disconcerting that I have to disrobe and show my privates to a complete female stranger. But once I Iooked up whether the name was female and got some pictures I became a little happier. :)
