    Oy, if you like the taste of beef, try moose if you find yourself at a game supper and no venison. It's hard to tell the difference.....in fact, I can't.

    I think venison is okay, when stewed with lots of onion, garlic and dry red wine.

    A few years ago, I ordered a bowl of lamb stew in an Istanbul restaurant. The stew was a creamy, slightly lemony liquid that was absolutely to die for and came in a bowl the side of a large hubcap. In the bowl was a gigantic lamb shank. Delicious, but not what I expected.
    If we're ever in a situation where I am "the voice of reason", then we are in a very, very bad situation.
