Gabriel Byrne is 68 today.

His career has spanned over four decades and is still going strong.

He possesses an uncanny ability to play varied nationalities: playing an Israeli in “Hanna K”, a German in “The Keep” and an American gentleman from the South in “A Simple Twist of Fate” to name a few.

He has starred in, and is possibly best known for, many unforgettable movies such as “The Usual Suspects” “The Man in the Iron Mask” “Little Women” and my personal favorite, “Miller’s Crossing”

He also has a knack for picking gems of independent movies in which to act: “Louder Than Bombs” and “No Pay, Nudity”

He can play a bad guy, starring as the Devil in “End of Days” and a good guy, the priest in “Stigmata.”

He has done TV also in both US and Great Britain
