    Firefox problems?

This is really weird. I've been mostly using Firefox as my browser for years, with no problems. All of a sudden, starting yesterday, I'm getting strange stuff on my screens in this forum.

On the Title/Thread Starter screen, every thread starts with the link, "Go to first new post," followed by the name of the thread. It's annoying. At the top right of the screen, where it gives you the option of First or Last, the Last box shows up doubled.

When I get into the thread, every post tells me whether the author of that post is online or offline at the moment. Distracting and also annoying. I don't need to know that.

However, when I use MS Edge as my browser (the one with the big blue lower case e), none of this happens! Everything looks exactly the same as it always has.

So, what gives with Firefox? Is there any way I can fix this?

(So far, I haven't noticed any other problems with Firefox on other web sites, only this one.)

It might be something with the operating system.

    e.g. Windows.

OK, thanks for the suggestions. I went to Camper's link and refreshed my Firefox app, so now this forum looks back to normal.

But now the problem is that it won't let me get into Yahoo, where I have my email! It says Yahoo is not configured properly, and my data may be compromised, so to protect me it won't let me in.
I'll see if I can contact them (Firefox) and get this resolved. Yahoo has been my email carrier for many years, without any problems.

    Ouch! As Roseanna Dana says.

If it's not one thing it's the other.

You should try contacting Yahoo to get your account back.

I use firefox as my browser for this forum, and it's fine ( although I have a MAC )...but for ages since goodness knows how many updates of firefox , probably more than a year, I've had the same message about Yahoo...it simply won't let me in...I don't use yahoo as an email carrier for anything much thank goodness, but I can't use flickr without using my yahoo account, so it's irritating to say the least!!

So... all of a sudden, everything is working fine on Firefox! Including access to Yahoo. To quote the king in The King and I, "Is a puzzlement."

    Thanks for the help.

I used Firefox until Windows 10 and then had nothing but problems.

I reinstalled it a couple of times and finally just gave up.

So did you turn the computer on and off at some point?

It's too bad we can't reset ourselves. I can't find a way to turn myself off when everything is getting screwed up.
