I met him a few times, his then wife (not Jeffery's mother) was part of a local horse club and he would come to some of the events with her. Definitely an elephant in the room scenerio.

I think we have heard the "sins of the father" coming down to the son..or whatever. I think in this case it is the sins of the son hurting the father

I saw the interview with him on TV. Jeffrey came from somewhat a dysfunctional family. He was ignored by his parents and his mother was a social misfit due to psychological problems. He wasn’t sexually or emotionally abused, but did weird things like killing small animals and dissecting them. Strange kid for sure.
