My sister lives in Vancouver and I have visited once but never Newfoundland. However one of my nieces is married to a Newfoundlander but we never discussed it at length as far as I can remember. However I have studied it up a while ; watched a few dramatic video docos of its decimation and decline and feel drained and disgusted that Canada could treat its own in this way. Yes I can do my own research ; not in touch with the family much but would be interested in more global views on what I think is a catastrophy against humanity??
