This Was a Real Police Car

The last vehicle I had before retirement was a 2015 Ford Explorer. It had a lot of special equipment on it and although I was never a Ford person, I liked my Explorer. I never knew what size engine was in it, but it ran.

My son just got a ‘23 Ford Explorer, it’s yuuuge! That is until they put the cage behind the drivers seat a little to close…guess the “misunderstood” felons need to be more comfortable.

Glad it wasn’t a Beetle.

This was always my complaint. Up front, when all the computer equipment and portable fax and printer were installed, there wasn’t a whole lot of room for much else, including my log book and manual.

However, I enjoyed my Explorers and pretty much took ownership of it. Here is a picture of the most current model I could find, but the 2023 changed by placing a set of lights on the inside of the windshield at the very top inside. These babies can move.

I can beat that... these are the police cars we used to have in the UK
