This not really all that far off. Misa and I often talk about the "media" we have been listening to. It really does take opening up the mind to a lot of fresh information that usually is passed by. It takes more patience when the explanations flow.

I am hard of hearing so, somethings my wife says to me is muffled by background noise. Hence I don’t clearly hear what she has to say conveniently enough I can pretty well guess the importance of her topics by tuning in and out with minimum effort.

Plus I can always ask her to repeat herself.
