What kinds of boots do you wear in Winter?

I like those boots Ruthanne, they'd be ideal for snow.. and sometimes because I'm a shoe freak I feel that I should buy some like them, but in reality we don't get enough snow to warrant having them, so I have normal leather knee high boots, or ankle boots.. some heavy tread ankle trekking boots, but nothing more substantial than that...

In the last 3 months I've bought 6 pairs of new boots, 4 ankle, and 2 knee high .. here's just one pair....

These are my flat heel knee highs I've had for a long time...

These are cuban heeled... which I've had for a long time too...

I'll post pictures of the new ones when I get a chance...

Since I walk so much I need good shoes and boots so have a variety of them from ankle boots to knee highs, though I don’t have quite as many as holly has.

I’ve got these knee high Tommy Hilifigers in brown, another knee high pair in black, some black sorels, a few pairs of attractive work boots my husband picked up free from work and some merrell hiker types for walking the girls.

I’m only a size 71/2 - C3E4C150-8C41-4B3F-A90A-A352B4B4A459.jpeg8DAE61C1-304F-4652-82A4-0A5E7D365CB3.jpeg8 so have no problems with boots fitting me66CE6DDD-D326-4639-B449-DD150FC76D65.jpeg

My sorels I’ve had for almost 20 years and there isn’t a thing wrong with them.

Those are great! Nice colors too!

Holly, you made me feel deprived....I only own 1 pair of boots

So my lonely little pair are mid calf and they have a zipper on the side.....it gets worse, the toggle broke off the zipper so I replaced it with a safety pin. frugal me will wait till next winter to replace them :D
Well, you're resourceful! ;) (y) I'm waiting till next month, too, as I've spent enough this month.

I have a pair like your first pair. I'm a 7 1/2 too but I get size 8 for boots. Those are all very nice.

I have a terrible time trying to find boots in my size,11,so I wear men's 9 1/2 instead
In Nov went to local store, bought a pair of men's Columbia boots. They cover my ankles, waterproof, great traction and are comfortable.
Sorry, don't have a picture of them
It's important to have comfortable ones! Mine aren't, that's why I want new ones.

They are really nice boots. Not the kind I would normally purchase but I totally lucked out one day @ winners. They were the only ones there and were marked 75% off, regularly $300 plus and I’ve gotten so much use out of them. They are even comfortable enough to walk my girls in.

🙏 thank you Ruthanne

It's wonderful to get them at such a reduced price! 😉 (y)

Lee....hahaha.... I have over 20 pairs of boots, in fact I have about 5 or 6 pairs in a box right next to me now which I'm about to put for sale online.. I gave 9 or ten pairs to the charity shop before Christmas... . I'm a fiend for boots...

Keesha, Winners is good for stuff like that, sometimes you hit a bargain at just the right time. They have quality stuff.

Holly, rub it in why don't you :D and now I have to ask, how many pair of shoes do you have?

Now actually, as for the shoes, I'm better with those... I used to have over 40 pairs... if you included sandals, flip flops , high heels, work shoes.. etc.. but I donated all of them in perfect condition to charity after I retired , and now I have about 4 or 5 pairs of dressy high heels shoes .. and 3 pairs of flip flops

I'll count them later when I take photos of my newest boots... but my weakness along with good boots are Memory sole Sketchers...I have about 14 pairs of those...:LOL:

hey....I don't drink or smoke... it's my indulgence...

@Ruthanne , have you decided mi chica?...are you going to get those blue ones in the first picture? :giggle:
I actually like the second pair better with the faux fur sticking out of them. They come in the light color or brown or black and I like all 3 colors. They are very reasonable, too, but I have to wait till next month to get them. Now I'll have to decide on what color..oh such a quandry!:ROFLMAO:
