A couple of times, when a cute picture of my son, deemed pertinent for some community topic article,
was taken for use in a local newspaper,
I was asked for my "okay" that they use it, but I wasn't ever offered a dime for it,
even though I asure you, he was as cute as @Pappy
:giggle::LOL:

The more recent of the 2 times (both very long ago)
the photojournalist informed me that I could pay the paper, for a copy of the photo,
if I'd like to order it from them, later on.

What? :oops::confused: That's the opposite of a payment for it.....
and he was so cute, too.
Oh, I already said that part.
:ROFLMAO:

1957. My new bride and our one room apartment in Aberdeen, MD. The house was owned by Cal Ripken Sr. mother who gave us the run of the house. Cal and his friends would toss the ball in that yard in front of the trailer. I believe he was in a farm team at the time. I spent 12 weeks of school here, learning to repair heavy equipment. Then I was sent to California at Camp Roberts.
