Wondering What's Our Average Age On This Forum

Years ago I thought it was silly to not tell your age, but not so much now. I just can't stand to say the number now but I was born at Christmas time, the end of 1943.
@Kayelle my husband was born on Christmas Day 1943 in London as The Blitz was raging around them
The Hospital was evacuated out to the front and it was snowing and Bob's Mum was there with her newborn son
A bomb came through the roof of the hospital and bounced all the way down the stairs to the morgue and did not go off

Ohmygosh, that story is amazing...!!! I am three days older than your husband and born in a blizzard at -60F in Minnesota.

I'm only 30 miles from the Minnesota border and have travelled there in the winter to Duluth many times.
I had a spare battery in the trunk and brought it into the motel so the car would start in the morning. When the wind sweeps across those highways it's brutal. The wind chill factor has to come into play all the time.

Me too..at 65. :D...In actual fact I've been asked for ID most of my life!! I could still get away with half fare on the bus when I was 25 if I tried it... :D I hated looking so young when I was that age, but now it's a blessing.
When I didn't color my hair and let it turn salt n pepper, i thought it'd serve as my "proof" of age, but it was no go for merchants.
