The smell of a new car.. love that so much that we have a spray polish for the car that smells identical to a new car.

turkey roasting.

leaves burning. a little OT but wish burning leaves was still allowed. here township has a schedule where they roll thru sections with a vac/shredder/chipper hauler by a township pick-up. the truck and chipper are running CONSTANTLY. wouldn't be at all surprised of that does far more polluting than burning leaves ever did/could.

Outside scents: a freshly mowed lawn, sawdust, roses, waterfalls, thunderstorms with lots of rain.
Inside scents: bakery type foods getting happy in the oven, pumpkin pie spices the scent more than the flavor, the barest hint of English Leather.

Like @hollydolly, I love the scent of night blooming jasmine. Unfortunately we had to rip ours out because the bees were crazy about it, too.

When I was a kid we had a Karmelkorn shop on one corner of a downtown movie palace and a Planter's Peanuts on the other corner.

For me, the smells from those two stores are a part of my Christmas memories when we went downtown to shop and experience the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. I suppose that the young folks today will have memories of the mall or maybe online shopping when they get to be my age.
