I can't get passed Dr. Pimple Popper.

Why do people allow these pimples or abscesses to get SO big? I just don't understand it. I was switching the TV channels prior to falling asleep and ran across Dr. Pimple Popper. The patient had HUGE pimples all over. OMG....845cfbcd17588e92de0ba2d0ee19776f[1].jpg

Neurofibromas, pilar cysts, milia, phymatous rosacea, and lipomas are disfiguring skin conditions some people are forced to live with because elective surgeries aren't covered by insurance and doctors brush them off as non-life threatening. Doctor Pimple Popper relieves some sufferers of their long-standing misery. Not such a terrible thing. Just sayin'.

I can understand that. I just wish the message could get out there without disturbing TV ads. Keep the show, if it is helpful to anyone, but advertise it without those scenes.

I just came up with an idea for a program I could host: "Let me show you how I p** and p**p into bags stuck to my tummy" No offence meant to anyone else here that has an ostomy of some sort

Have at it, but it seems pretty self explanatory. Maybe show how you empty and clean the bags or are they disposable? How did you come by having to use them? Many of us don't know what other people have to do to live. It would be enlightening. I'm sorry, I see you are in a wheelchair. Maybe do a show on how that goes day to day. Today people just breeze through they're lives unaware of the things other people must deal with.

Dr. Pimple Popper....My 600 lb. life....Hoarders....and there are probably others, which show how badly some people live. On the Plus side, when I have watched Dr. Pimple Popper, it seems that she often treats people who have come from poorer countries, where her skills are not available, and in that regard, she is performing a good service.

Has it come to this? On an episode of Shark Tank a couple had a sponge like thing and it was filled with puss colored fluid. The idea was it would prevent people from popping zits. You simply squeezed certain areas of this thing and the puss colored substance would come out! I never thought I would see something like this and most amazing of all Mr. Wonderful invested $250,000 in it!

Good thing that I'm not interested in any of those shows; I remember watching the first "Hoarder" show and started getting anxious with the mess.

I get those gross shows too and watched a little of a Hoarders show and that was enough. It has made me more aware of all my things. Still going through things to give away. Have decided that I will probably just call the Salvation Army and arrange for a pick up. I am past the point of caring whether they sell the stuff or give it away. Just keeping a few things that special people have given me and I want to keep.

Found a Unity blue little bear that an older friend gave me many years ago. I called her daughter who is my sil and was telling her about the bear. She said that her mother only gave those to people she really cared about and loved. Her mother is now in a very nice home for older people with dementia and Alzheimers. (sic). I hated that so much as she was so loving and the best hostess around.

Her husband was a military man with high ranking and she was called upon many times during his career to entertain top level brass with special dinners, etc. When my sister and I visited my brother in Miami she would insist on having us to dinner at her home during our stay. She did all the cooking herself and she was like a chef. The last time I spoke with her she did not know who I was and that hurt so much. Anyway I have gotten off the topic but have thought a lot about my friend and the little bear she fave me. It is a keeper.

My thoughts also. Some of the patients have said other doctors wouldn't treat the area because of the location. Some people may not have insurance and the show covers the cost plus travel. The MD is a sweetheart also.
