Duplicates in your house/apartment

what kind of things do you have around your house/apartment that are duplicates?

my kitchen is loaded with them. i would doubt the sanity of anyone with only ONE spatula or wooden spoon.

scissors... i have "good" scissors that people know either to ONLY use on fabric or not even think about using. i probably have 6-7 other pair throughout my 1 BR apartment... even a pair in my car.

i wear readers. since i can find ones that work just fine at dollar store... they're everywhere. if i break them, sit on them, scratch a lens, lose them... no big deal.

you can probably find something to write on and with in a 6-8' radius anywhere in my apartment.

so, what do you have dupes of?

I especially laughed at this line:

I like having duplicates of small items such as nail clippers, so it ups my odds of locating one, at any given time when I need to use one!

Let's see.... multiple pairs of slippers.....duplicate identical pairs of sweatpants.....

When I spend hours looking for a perhaps a tool and can't find it, I go and buy another, then within days only to find the one the one I was looking for. Some items I have in triplicate or quadruple. I don't know what comes after quadruple, but I've got a lot of them too.

Besides the wooden spoons or pens, I have tons of scotch tape. I cleaned out my junk drawer recently and discovered I have 6 rolls of scotch tape. I always think I need to buy more.

That and foil. And plastic bags, I don't like to run out. I have dupes of a lot of things...

Yes, nothing irritates me more than when I go to reach for a length of foil, a sheet of wax paper, or a baggy, and I come up empty.

Lots of duplicate stuff. I swear my previous house ate scissors. I never could find a pair and would buy more. I used to say that when I died, whoever cleaned out my house would wonder if I had a scissor fetish. I didn't find that many when we moved though so I wonder what happened to them.

I'm another one with more than one cold pack. Of course I have duplicate silverware and big knives, too. I have matching memory foam pillows on the couch--one for me and one for doggie.

More than duplicates....I can never find a tape measure when I want one, hence I now have one in every room....scissors are numerous....baking trays. I'm ashamed to say this but I have more than one coffee machine. I wasn't happy with the one I had so bought another. I have three irons...I keep buying purses (wallets) because I'm still looking for the perfect one.
At least I'm keeping the economy moving by spending money.

I basically have duplicates of most things... scissors are the same, a pair in a drawer in every room...

Pens galore, in a tub in my office room

Diaries and notepads...

2 of just about every kitchen implement you can think of that fits in a cupboard or drawer...including 3 Colanders...and 4 breadboard/cutting boards

2 Irons..although I rarely iron now.. but I always keep the previous one in case the new one breaks down...

More Lipsticks and nail polish than a beauty shop...

No duplicates really inside the house (I've been getting rid of stuff). Huzz has got a million duplicates of all kinds of stuff out in his shop. What there is too much of, way more than double, IMO is the miles between our house and the nearest grocery store, bank, post office, doctor's office, etc.
