An Inanimate Object I Hate

Maybe you have one too.

I hate teeter totters. Being tiny I was always left on when the bell rang to end recess and I went crashing down. That same sensation of crashing comes as I try to walk downstairs. Yes, I hate them every time I see or think about them. (First world problems 🤣)

But they aren't really inanimate are they? Oh wait...I just saw the picture. We call them See Saws where I'm from. They are inanimate until someone gets on them. You poor baby. LOL :D

Yes! When your partner bailed on you, leaving you to crash and crash hard!

I got good at sticking my legs out and using them as springs to absorb the impact.

Going to give this topic some thought as to what else...

Thanks for starting it, Jules!

When I was little I got my boot stuck in an escalator and I've been terrified of them ever since. It was a real struggle for me years ago when I used to fly through ATL airport for work.

Nice! The teeter totters on our school ground were like those except longer so you could up higher in the air. The bumps and bruises were the price for having fun thereon.
Ours were too. I actually loved the teeter totters. It became a real challenge for balancing. If you sat forward you could often force the other person down and if you sat at the very back, they’d go flying into the air. Then you could sit there and make them squirm. No ! I wasn’t a bully. 😂Lol

Poor Jules is gonna hate me. 😂
Sorry Jules. 😅

note: it was a game we all played together with friends and nobody ever jumped off leaving the other person falling.
