Hello everyone. I hope everyone of you hereabouts is happy and well or proceeding in that direction. I am from North Carolina. I inhabit several acres of land deep in the woods on the outskirts of the Green Swamp. I am right partial to this area. I live pretty much a solitary life. I do not drive anymore. A close friend helps me with transportation when I need to venture out for groceries and such. Lots of wildlife around me. Bear, deer, turkey, wood peckers, coyote, bobcat, fox, opossum, racoon and squirrel. Oh yea and a few snakes here and there. I have game cams placed throughout the area to keep tabs on the critters. I figured I could use some good conversation with people around my own age. I ran across this forum while doing a little net surfing and thought I would give it a try. Stay healthy and take care.

I'm jealous of your living location and environment. I wish I could do that... living in nature with all those animal friends around you (or maybe not so friendly...). :)

Mine don't care for garbage; not when I've spoiled them by feeding their favorite foods - Raw Hazelnuts, Almonds, Watermelon & cat kibble.
 
Hi @oldpop , if you need any help with anything related to the way the forum runs , just shout out and we can help... I'm sure you'll settle in like CAKcy has who just joined us a few weeks ago.. and seems to be enjoying it.....
