What is your favorite "go to" past time?

I couldn't knit for almost a year due to Carpal Tunnel. Surgery was late November last year and I'm knitting again. I keep it simple. I've never knit a sweater. I can do simple lace knitting such as leaves. They look complicated but aren't.

I can crochet some but knit better and that's not saying much.

I also like puzzles and look at them longingly sometimes. But with my cats, no way.

Read. I have a fiction (cozy mystery) and non fiction book going right now.

Dancing, as in Latin & Ballroom, although over the years we have learned many a sequence dance. We love the shock value when the Lambada music is played and we, a couple of old geriatrics, get up and dance it.

Our other interests are attending 1930's/1940's festivals, we love the music and clothes from that golden era. My wife has a cabin where she makes wonderful creations and I have a 1937 MG car that we go out in on sunny days. It also carries us to those festivals when they are held near home.

Depends on how much time i have between 'must-do' things. Reading, checking in here, Word or matching video games. In evenings when have longer stretches watching a movie or couple of shows. Walking around my land, especially after a snowfall to see the tracks and figure out what animals visited.

Have you tried online puzzle games? I mean literally, puzzle pieces you put together just like in 3D but on screen. I play those sometimes.

Mainly reading or occasional crocheting. I used to always have some kind of craft going .. grapevine wreaths, dried flower arrangements, needle crafts, jigsaw puzzles, jewellery making. Do not have the space for anything like that anymore.
I love to crochet and have made afghans for all my peeps, but a lot of the time I find myself undoing my work and starting over... multiple times.

take my daily walks{weather permitting},doing daily NYT crossword puzzle, usually get Mon&Tues, sometimes Weds, reading my books ,newspapers e.g NYT,local paper.

My favourite of course is this forum...but aside from this, I love to take photos, and living in a very picruesque area surrounded by woodland, farmland, lakes and rivers, and 12th century old country villages and towns ..I have a lot of choice for photos in this area alone, much less all my photos from foreign travel .. see the photos threads on here

Walk an hour everyday
Reading
Sorting my printed out photos
Cooking - trying different recipes
Watch you-tube music videos
A bunch of other stuff most wouldn't be interested to hear...

And hubby and I play various games: Skip Bo, Rummikub, Yahztee, Sequence, Racko and watch a movie and/or series every day.
