What do you enjoy most, getting up, or going to bed?

I've always been a night person. I can't explain it. At 10:59 PM, I can't keep my eyes open. I'm nodding off. But at 11:00 PM, I'm raring to go. I could run a marathon. I want to fix the shed roof, and mow the lawn I hate going to bed. Yet, you need a crane to get me out of bed in the morning. It's so comfy and warm. I have to force myself to go to sleep at 11. I can do it, but it isn't natural for me.

i am SO GRATEFUL MY DOG DOESNT GET UP EARLY.
ohmy!!!
she sleeps in. sometimes i wake her up. LOLOL.

i awake in pain every morning so im slow to get up. i smoke some CBD weed and begin to settle the pain down
and within an hour im feeling much better and wanting to get some brekkie.
once im up im much better. i sleep on my injury. its not simple.

i seem to be full of energy starting around 9-10pm every nite. im ready to do this that, all sorta stuff i didnt do
during the day hours when i was bothered by heat or now direct sun.

i cannot tolerate much direct sun any more. for four summer months i react Every morning when my eyes
get Any first direct sun in them. major hot flash.
ive again started taking ashwaghanda(sp) 2x day since it helps balance body heat temps.

Unless I’m totally exhausted I dread going to bed to fight the insomnia.
Insomnia is a tough one, yet when I felt I suffered a little I found trying to embrace the time your mind wouldn't let you sleep was one way of dealing with it, and maybe it eventually helped bring patterns of sleep back to ",normal".

Nowadays I'm definitely someone who enjoys going to bed, though I use distractions, like leaving the radio on, and it all helps the sleep process I think, (and into the bargain you may get brought up to date with whatever has been happening in the world :) ).

Going to bed and napping. I Love sleeping since I've matured. Used to be a morning person a long time ago, now I enjoy a snooze anytime day or night. Not sure if that will continue or not, will just have to see how it goes :coffee:. Don...
ive gone thru stages of this. i was napping every day late afternoon and sometimes id drop off again in the evening.
then i began taking some...adrenal stress relief...and my entire routine has changed, back to more normal.
falling asleep at normal time instead of anxiety for hours at bedtime, sleeping more deeply and restfully.
fwiw.

i think we all have more stress now...younger peeps too but older ones, us, we deal with death looming which
is way more stress than being a younger.
adrenals are well over worked of late.

I take sleeping pills to sleep, have sense Vietnam, if I don't I have nightmares bad, stay awake all night, I sleep as best I can , I hate going to bed
oh me too. im a vet too.
i havent sleep thru the nite w/o meds in nearly 40yrs.
w/o them...i do not sleep. not. ever. at. all.
BP starts rising.

each new doc tries to deny the meds but i wont let them get away with that crap.
it has become an always fight now. every time a doc who writes for me retires ive got to
fight for the meds that keep me alive.

I have a strange sleeping pattern too. If I don't start winding down by 9:30pm and go to bed by 10pm.... I lose my sleep. I started this pattern this year. It's horrible. I was given sleeping pills and did not like the effects; so, not going to take them.

When I worked PM shift and slept until about 11am, I really missed mornings.

I like mornings. After about noon, I feel like the good part of the day is gone. On days I work, I'm up at 430am. Days I don't work I usually sleep 5-7am.

I don't mind going to bed and gratefully have not had insomnia problems. If my mind is racing, I'll turn the TV back on.
