I am in Southern CA, in the out n' away, up a mountain. For now I will just lurk, read your Threads/Posts just to get a feel as to who is who an' what is what.

I am an old hand at Forums such as this one, dating back to oh, about 1996 or so...So I do know to watch my mouth, and to keep my inherent Redneck in check.

I am not a Social Media sorta fella, so, Email, Texts and a coupla Message Boards is how I commo with others when not using the phone or talking face to face.

If and when I have something to say, rest assured I will say it.

Welcome from Houston town. I am sort of out of the way as I am in the Clear Lake area. I am thankful I am not in the downtown crowded area!

Thanks Holly...Let's see, last time I remember being in London was in 1969 or so? Had a few pints in a pub and showed a couple local blokes that Yanks surely could toss them some darts. Was on my way to Frankfurt and had a lay-over at Heathrow. THAT was when, via 1st exposure, that I discovered I had an affinity for English Babes. I could, because I am a talker, go on for a good long while as to why it is I truly liked English gals then, and still do to this very day. But...naw.

Anyway, thanks to you and others for the welcome!

I was just 14 in '69...so I didn't know you from then..and anyway I was living in Scotland then... but co-incidentally some years later I did go to work in Frankfurt... :D..I thought I might have known you from another forum tho'... but I hope you enjoy this one...

Well Holly, perhaps you remember me from another go-'round on this Earth? I wasn't much older than you at that time...Working for Uncle Sam in The U.S. Army. I wasn't in Frankfurt but a few hours, then went south and was stationed in Neu Ulm for a spell.

I was on Poetry Forum a few years back, and interacted with writers from many places off shore...huh?

My wife and I are both published poets and both performed on the Spoken Word scene...(some time ago)
