Yeah, you know that that Silver Alert thread? And the other one is Missing Members. I didn't want to show up there after dropping dead or whatever, so I showed Michelle what to do in case that ever happened.Frank, @Murrmurr quit trying to grab the spotlight on SF!
Seriously, we are all so happy and relieved that you are okay. It was so great of Michelle to keep us posted. She is clearly the wonderful woman you've always described. Glad she was there for you. She truly appreciates what a wonderful and loved person you are as well.
Now, start posting again!
She knows how much we care about you!Yeah, you know that that Silver Alert thread? And the other one is Missing Members. I didn't want to show up there after dropping dead or whatever, so I showed Michelle what to do in case that ever happened.
She jumped the gun a bit, but that's ok. Works for falls and paralysis, too.![]()

She talked about it for over an hour when she visited me at the hosp last night. She knows how much we care about you!
Wishing you a smooth recovery.
Yes, I'm home, and Yes Ma'am, I will listen to the ol' ball and chain.@Murrmurr
Frank! So good to see you back here! You gave us quite a scare. I'm assuming you are home now? Take care, and listen to Michelle!
better than the alternative ... good to see you back, and cheeky as ever,..She talked about it for over an hour when she visited me at the hosp last night.
I'm home and doing just fine. But I have like 5 doctor appointments on my June calendar now, and I'm not sure they're done calling yet. "Getting Well" is kind of a drag.
I sometimes wonder if he does still.... you need to be here for your bride your children, grandchildren and the little boy that adores you!!
It is a sad thought but, you are still here for him.I sometimes wonder if he does still.
I thought about Paxton a lot while I was alone in my little hospital bed, and thinking, you know, what if it was something worse? Something fatal, like a heart attack or something. What would they tell him? What would he think?...just another person who left without a good-bye or an explanation just when things got even worse for him?
That was tough.
I am sure he still adores you!! When you see him again, he might be stand offish at first, just to protect his heart. Like you have said, he does not understand what is happening or why.I sometimes wonder if he does still.

That's amazing, Trish! I love this story. It is a sad thought but, you are still here for him.
When I was 15/16 we had a neighbour who's husband had left her to bring up their small child alone and I use to babysit while she went out to work in the evenings, that little boy was about 4 or 5 when they moved away and I gave him a set of story books. Years later, I was in a supermarket and saw our ex-neighbour, she called over to her son and pointed me out, he rushed over and gave me a hug. I couldn't believe that this was the little boy I use to look after (he was late thirties by then). He introduced me to his own two little boys and told me that he still had the story books and would read them to his own children. He also remembered me taking him over to the toy stall in the market and letting him choose a present. It's amazing how much small children remember.
It was amazing and it was great to see how well his life had worked out. I never expected to meet him again and was surprised he remembered me. We never really know what the future holds and I am sure that if Paxton ever needs you, you will be there for himThat's amazing, Tish! I love this story.
Paxton will be 4yrs old in three days, and he's very intelligent, that I know for a fact. He susses things out way better than the average kid his age. He's insightful.
Come on you don't have 3 cartons do you? I will admit that I had about 2 packs left in a carton. But I still have 3 cartons left
