Anyone Famous Or Infamous In Your Family Tree?

Yes on both sides of the family tree
My siblings and I are related to Sam Adams who was President John Adams 2nd cousin. We are 6 cousins six times removed to Benedict Arnold.
Colonel Nathaniel Rochester is a distant relative, the city of Rochester,NY is named after him.
My father's side of the family comes from New Hampshire,my mom's from Salem, Mass

My aunt by marriage (my mom's brother's wife) is the niece of Amelia Earhart. My aunt's dad is Amelia's brother. My aunt's maiden name is Earhart. Pictures of Amelia and my aunt at the same ages look like sisters.
Bonus; my three girls all went to the Amelia Earhart school (on an Air Force base in Japan).

On my mother's side, Dr. Archibald Thomas (1787-1850) "...cut the arrow out of Davy Crockett's back" who survived. It wasn't at the Alamo battle which was later, in 1836).

In 1813 Crockett, at 27 yrs old, was among thousands of Tennesseans who joined the state militia to fight against the Creek Indians who had attacked American settlers at Fort Mims, Alabama. The Tennessee Militia was led by the future President Andrew Jackson in the Creek village of Tallushatchee.

I may have written this long ago in another post, but George Eastman of Eastman Kodak fame was a cousin of mine, many times removed.

Also, my grandfather used to tell me we were related to the King of Sweden. It made me feel special when I was a little girl but, of course, just took it as a cute story when I grew up. Until I found a snap shot in my grandmother's photo album of the King and Queen of Sweden standing at a table full of food at a picnic. Why in the world would my grandparents be at a picnic with the King? Hmm....

I'm Scottish with Scottish/Irish Grandparents.. originally ... can you just Imagine how many famous people I could probably trace my lineage back to also given that my Irish ancestors.. were Vikings ( Denmark /Norway & Sweden)... and my Scottish Ancestors were Gaels, Norse and Picts ( the latter from Iberia)...
