I thought it was feel-good romp and give it 7 on a scale of 1-10. Not one of the greats, but certainly worthy of the two hours I spent watching it. Likeable actors and inventive story - not the typical rom-com pabulum. The Noel Diary......Netflix

Did you read the book? I did and am wondering how well they managed the adaptation. Some book to film adaptations are pretty good despite leaving out quite a bit (Hunger Games series comes to mind), and some are so terrible that word gets out to readers to avoid the movie at all costs (The Goldfinch was a recent example.)Where Crawdads Sing on Netflix. It was quite good and ended well, but some of it was rough.
I read the book and thought it was great. Movie not so much. Got bored and went to bed before it was over.Did you read the book? I did and am wondering how well they managed the adaptation. I did not read the book, but after watching the movie, I looked at the reviews on Amazon. There were a couple of complaints about how closely the movie adhered to the book.Did you read the book?
