King Charles has finally thrown Prince Andrew out of the royal fold and told him he's 'on his own' in the wake of the scandal surrounding his associations with the late paedophile financier Jeffery Epstein, a source has claimed.

The Duke of York was told to no longer use Buckingham Palace as an office space, effectively severing his final tie to his old life as a working royal, according to a new report in The Sun.

'Any presence at the Palace is officially over,' a source was quoted as saying. 'The King has made it clear. He isn't a working royal. He's on his own.'

As part of the King's decision, Andrew, 62, will not be able to use the address for any future correspondence.

Charles must have confirmed at least some of the worst allegations, don't you think? I don't think he'd have caused yet more drama unless he knew some extremely embarrassing truths. In which case, Andrew won't make a fuss either, if he's even inclined. He'll probably just bow out quietly.

I think what is more likely is that, since the Queen stripped her favourite son of all his titles, Charles now as Monarch probably wants as little money spent on anything to do with Andrew.. so has ousted him from the Palace which is not a home but a set of Royal Offices basically.. and out of Official Royal Life forever, making a clean sweep and showing the public he's starting off with a scaled down Working Family!

Andrew will no doubt continue living in his very plush private home with his Divorced wife Fergie.. ( very odd arrangement there).. on the money he inherited from his Mothers' estate... so in reality, we'll see less of him in any official capacity... and probably more of his ex wife, advertising weight watchers or something..

I never suspected he'd be left penniless. If he had, maybe then Fergie would look for some new digs.

Charles has clearly not ousted Andrew from the family .. the media is reporting that Fergie has been inivited to Sandringham for Christmas day.. well she'll not be going on her own, she'll be accompanying Andrew!!

I wish I could tell you something I know for sure about Prince Andrew... which would make all this seem like a Farce.. but I can't. I have no proof, so I would get sued, but for that I would tell you...

The arrogance of Prince Andrew is hard to overstate. The public may hate him, the American justice system is keen to get its claws into him and his own brother regards him as an embarrassing stain on the family name but Andrew seems, as ever, to be quietly confident about his prospects.

There has been one very important factor in Andrew’s favour. He had, until September 8th this year, the unwavering personal support of the most powerful person in the land, his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. Now a new Monarch reigns and he has been quick to pull the rug from under Andrew's feet.

For those outside the UK, the period between year end and the first quarter into the new year are, in theatrical terms, is known as the pantomime season. What classic timing!

King Charles is taking charge of Royal Christmas - their first at Sandringham since he acceded to the throne - with Fergie set to join them for lunch while Harry and Meghan stay well away.

The disgraced Prince Andrew will also be in attendance but is unlikely to walk with the family to church on Christmas day.

It comes as King Charles finally threw the Duke of York out of the royal fold, informing him he is 'on his own' after the scandal surrounding his associations with the late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, a source claimed.

Meanwhile, Charles and Camilla are due to be joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, the Princess Royal and her family, as well as the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children.

Charles delivered the most poignant Christmas speech to date in which he nodded to his late mother the Queen in a moving tribute in St George's Chapel, where the world was afforded a final glimpse of her coffin.

He is expected to speak movingly about Queen Elizabeth in the message, broadcast at 3pm on Christmas Day.

But King Charles also brought a modern touch with a large Christmas tree in the background decorated with ornaments made from sustainable materials and natural products.

The video was recorded last week, two days before Harry and Meghan's explosive Netflix series concluded with a plethora of attacks on the Royal Family. The Palace has no released any advanced details of the speech.

I wondered about Prince Andrew's income...thought it was controlled by King Charles' purse strings. I hope Andrew is frugal enough to limp along on a few million or more.

Now Haridan Harry and Meghan? Nobody cares. He can always sell used cars and she can become a barista at Starbucks.

I remember a TV program, where the former Buckingham Place Security officer complained that Andrew's 'dolly' friends were a security risk. Apparently, there's a security protocol for late night visitors. Andrew would have hissy fits , if his 'dolly' friends weren't just let in, unannounced, whenever they showed up. The officer called that a significant security risk.

..but we're discussing Andrew...

Oh my goodness! It's the First Year without the Queen giving the Xmas address! That's how I fell in love with her! Wow, feels sad. Charles has HUGE shoes to fill!

Has Prince Harry been totally kicked out of the royal family like Prince Andrew is, or is he just staying away from everything by his own choice ?
Prince William would be the next king when King Charles dies, right ? If something happens to William, then would Prince Harry become king instead ?

No, it stays with William's family. I think it would be William's oldest; Prince George.

I was wondering about that. There is the old quote about ”an heir and a spare”, and I was thinking that Prince Harry named his book “Spare”, which made me think that if something were to happen to Prince William, then Harry would be King after King Charles died. Maybe that is not how it goes once Prince William is married and has children.
Thank you for explaining, @RadishRose !
