Is there a place you'd really love to visit?

You're not missing anything not visiting the Pyramids they're in a pretty poor state tbh..

I would love to visit New Zealand... I could go tomorrow, it's not the cost that's stopping me but it's a 24 hour flight with stop overs, and I don't think my back would take it...

Yup. I'd love to visit the Pyramids and the remains of Ancient Egypt. When you think how far back in history they were- the wheel was experimental technology, and what they accomplished, not just in the building, but all the infrastructure that took.

I'd love to visit the Holy Land. Walk where Jesus walked.

Yeah it was a long flight when we went there, and they are like 21 hours ahead of us. So we left like on a Saturday, flew for 24 hours and arrived some time Monday. Totally skipped Sunday. Coming home was crazy, we left on like a Tuesday, flew for 24 hours and arrived home on Tuesday morning. 🤣 Now THAT'S jet lag! LOL

I don't see any place others have posted so far that I wouldn't want to visit. I like traveling and am pretty open to where. Except
ever been to Scranton?
Not on my list... but then I know little about it, maybe it should be.

Are you talking about the structures themselves or the tourist facilities? I have only flown over, but the pyramids look to be in pretty good shape for things built thousands of years ago...
Australia (3 months on a house exchange and that was not long enough)
@BC Flash did you do that? How did you arrange or find someone to exchange with? Always sounded like a great idea to me.

After college I spent 5 years in the Navy, 3 at sea where I was gifted with several visits to Hawaii, Japan, and Hong Kong. Last two years I spent stationed in southern Spain. While there I made several trips to Morocco, and briefer visits to Gibraltar, France, Norway, Germany, UK, Netherlands, and Switzerland. When I was discharged I drove through France, the length of Italy, and then into Greece, and Turkey, visiting Istanbul and quite a bit of the coast. Of all that traveling the two countries that in retrospect I think I liked the most were Italy and Greece. Italy is just a beautiful country, loaded with history and views of the Mediterranean. Venice is great and Rome is just one awesome site after another, but maybe it was just me, but Greece, and particularly Athens and the Acropolis, were in their way even more ancient and awesome.
