Too late to find this 🤣🤣🤣

Yup, I went at it backwards... So many subjects were attractive that I just jumped right in... So, it might be too late to do this but as Papa used to say "Better late than never..."

I reached the Crone's age 🤣🤣🤣. Principles of my Wicca beliefs... Maiden, Mother, Crone. The word is probably highly unacceptable, granted. I'd say the Wiser. Nevermind, short and sweet.

You've read it already, so I'll go with what I'd planned but executing now. I'm a widow nearly a year, I live with my daughter and a charming kitten. Back in late 90s, I tried my hands at writing again. I'm now an author looking for readership. I've one full series up and another one as WIP.

We live in a beautiful and quiet suburb on the West Coast of Scotland, enjoying a slower pace of life. I love helping people, making them, laugh, sometimes cry and scared out of their wits.

I'm not ready for a relationship yet, but hopeful. Thankfully, life's events help me tremendously in coping with my current situation . I'm hoping to make friends online and in real-life. This hermit life is too taxing.

Well, thanks to the nice ones whom lifted my moral. You've helped me more than you can imagine. Cheers!

Oh, welcome Supernatural. I've read a lot of your comments already and never thought that you haven't introduced yorself. It's never too late. Crone, hag, witch ... all what suits you. We need wise women :)

Don't feel bad. I've been here for years and realized much later in my membership that I never made an introductory post! I would love to see a picture of your "charming kitten." One came into our lives (my son lives with me now) Labor Day weekend and changed our lives and M.O. forever. My deepest condolences on the loss of your husband. Yet another creative person on the forum. What do you write about? Since it's not too late at all...I say

CoffeeBean_110922.jpgThanks @OneEyedDiva. Sorry, haven't updated his picks yet. I've been so busy with everything else lol. That's the pic of him circa 8 weeks old. Just after I got him and this one

I write about the Supernatural, Vampires & Witches for my currently completed series. Heavy on romance and good paranormal powers, no gore. Here's link to Synopses: https://msha.ke/cdbauthor/#top-picks-1

My current WIP is about Heavenly Beings. Angels who come to Earth to live as humans:

Under forum subject: "What Fascinates You" I talk about my experiences and under "Quote from a book" I've put an excerpt.

Here's the direct link to my paranormal experiences in a haunted house and encounters with souls on my blogger page. Enjoy reading if you dare, as some readers in the past told me they got spooked lol! I've lived it and survived 😱

Welcome, and I hope since you are Wicca that your kitten is at least a Black Cat. We are on our second one, and they are precious.

DownUnder Crone here and that is just one of the ages of man/woman nothing to get alarmed about 😇

I grew up with a baker's dozen black kitten and their mum. Papa always rescued cats. In 62, one wandered in the house via the backdoor. Looking for help, she was tired, according to what I heard later on after the tragic house fire which took their lives. She was quite young according to Papa and gave birth to 12 kittens shortly after. The kittens were only 2 months old at the time around February. My favourite one back then was Blackie.

Afterwards, we had other rescued cats but never really got to keep many. Sadly, one family member disliked cats, so we began trying to get dogs. Didn't work out either. With hubby, we had 4 dogs. After the last two died, I began looking for cats again.

Our latest is pictured here above all black with one fluffy white bit on his tummy. It's him on the red cover, shortly after he joined us. 👍

@Supernatural Late hello from me, welcome.

A belated welcome from me too, Supernatural, I did
notice that you had arrived, some time ago and you
have added to the proceedings here in a very positive
manner.

We need more Scots here, there are many on this
forum who are from Scottish ancestors, but only
a few, before you, that I am aware of, who are true
Scots.

Anyway enjoy the experience of this friendly place.

Mike.

Well, it's June 2023. Sorry been away for so long, feel I've to reintroduced myself again. SMILE!

I've been doing a lot of things, and I've been through a rollercoaster of emotions. However much I want to conclude things that had happened with hubby, a year has come and I'm patiently playing the lonely and boring waiting game. In itself, trust me it's annoying.

Communications are sparse and don't really provide much information. Example...

I made a complaint via ombudsman. Last communication was in December 2022. Yesterday I called after my neighbour friend said that these things take forever but I should get in touch...

They ended up apologising and are now taking care of it as quickly as possible. So a wee ray of sunshine but another fortnight of waiting.

Frankly, after everything we've been through after the passing of our son, I expected better days for all of us. Not really this lonely waiting game... However, I'm thankful of our accomplishments and how we've turned things around. Just wished we had more friends around as our bit of the street, yup everyone's on holiday.

We're home at Balcony City...
