What have you bought recently?

I did the grocery thing, this morning.
What a shock !!!!!!
No such thing as price checking with only one grocery store.
Came home and did some online price checking……what a saving it is going to be at my new destination.

Compitition can be a good thing……but…..I do not drive an hour to get better prices…..by the time you burn gas…..there is no savings.

arrived this evening...

Surprise surprise surprise! I spent no money today. Don't expect to spend any tomorrow, either. And that's a good thing, too, because I'm almost broke until my pension hits my account on Monday🤑

you do talk in riddles don't you ?😬
Oh, come on young lady, collector of handbags. Even stupid men know that Kipling Handbags are known for their mouse attachment on every bag. Well, it is a Monkey actually, but who is splitting hairs? A bit like Robert Mouseman furniture, but that gets a little expensive.:):)

Do they ?... well I never buy designer bags so I wouldn't know

I wasn't gonna spend money today but threw caution to the winds and did. I had a hankering for tuna casserole but no cream of crap soup and almost no milk. DD took me to the store, I got both, and while I was in there got her a jug of sweet tea. $8.43.

Can you believe a can of cream of crap soup cost $1.99? It wasn't Kroger; it was the pricey store across the road. I just checked Kroger's price: $1.50 for Campbell's and $1 for the store brand.

@Wayne Here's hoping your new knee is a good "investment"!

I didn't spend any money today but did take back a sack of grass patch and got my money refunded. Don't ask me why it didn't occur to me when I bought it last week that I'd tried this stuff last year and it was woefully inadequate. I thought of it when I was reading the instructions. Duh. My Oldtimer's Disease must be kicking in.

And my pension hit my account this morning so I'm fat. For now. But I'm still not gonna spend any. When I get paid on Thursday morning, paycheck is going straight to my emergency fund.

I know y'all have been waiting with bated breath for my daily spending report. Nope. Didn't spend a cent. It's okay to go ahead and exhale now.
