Age 88!?

Well, I guess no one is 88, Mitch. 🙂
I am almost 66 and starting to understand what old age is. I hope I am doing well at 88!
there's quite a few here who are well into their 80's ( not me ).. and some who are older than 88.. not up to me to say who..

@82 like most other seniors I've had a lot of experiences . What did you have in mind for sharing?

I'm not there yet, Mitch, but I have a cousin named Walter who is, and I talk to him often. It's just him and his 85yr-old wife, Talia, and an old dog named Asher at home now. Their great-grandson moved out just before Christmas last year. He lived with them for about a year while he saved up for his own place.

Walter is doing pretty well. He uses a walker or cane when he goes outside, but gets around the house just fine without them. His knees and one hip trouble him but he doesn't complain. I think that's only because he knows it won't change anything, and he doesn't want to cause Talia to fret over it. He isn't on any regular medication. He'll take a Tylenol once in a while, usually on days when it's cold, and he spends his afternoons in his recliner.

Well Mitch I just had my number 90 so that lets me of the hook besides which I am of the female gender and as usual we still have our different opinions on almost everything.:LOL::LOL:....

I'd like to have what you're having .. but no hurry. I just hit 70, I think I'll enjoy this decade a bit longer. Then if I don't succumb to a mass shooter maybe I'll try out the 80's. If that goes well, maybe I'll get to try 90 on for size in a score more years.

I'm age 88 and wonder if any others here are also 88. I'd like to compare notes on our experiences.
Experiences like military service, working & living out of America for several years, multiple jobs with lousy pay & no benefits? Or other experiences like enjoying the fact that those lousy jobs helped build a great resume, teaching sons many job skills, or where we went on family road trips?

No matter what age, it'd be intriguing to read about someone born in the depression era and
a child during World War two.
Not that many folks left to do that
