People who speak everything as a question. Upspeaking.
It tends to younger ones who speak like that and I simply cannot bear it.
Being a grumpy old woman, I also can't bear very loud voices and cackling hyena type laughter.

What can you not bear?

Really?
You’re kidding! 😂
Am I annoying yet?
Rose isn't talking about incessant questions that are actually questions, she's talking about people who make statements that end like a question. You know, like: "Yesterday? I went to the store? and they have this new salad in the deli? Have you tried it?"

It's basically Valley-Girl talk but more widespread. And yeah, it's annoying.

I don't have anything to add to the subject... *but* what you said here reminded me of something from years ago. We had a neighbor who sat on her porch and cackled like that whether or not anyone was there with her. My daughter always said she sounded like a goose honking and for years, the lady was nicknamed "goosey" in my house. "Goosey's outside honking again!" :ROFLMAO:

A person appears softer and less aggressive if they state their opinion
as a question instead of a declaration. It's less confrontational.
Yes, I know women who speak LOUDLY and you actually take a few steps back! hahaha!
and "cackling" might be a nervous reaction of insecurity.

We can't control the behavior of others but we can realize our
own voices and modify them to be soft-spoken and gentle.
Women don make-up, jewelry, nice clothes but forget about
the sound of their voice and it's importance.
Glad you brought this up, @Rose65!

I actually looked this exact video up when I was researching this ridiculous trend. I’ve seen movies with this type of behaviour but don’t actually hear it in real life since I’m never around kids cause … they drive me nuts. 😝Lol

I guess most kids … like did some form of stupid behaviour …. like to fit in …. Like , at school 🙄 It clearly shows how desperate people are to fit in which is actually like…. very… SAD😏
I hear it a lot and it's usually not among kids.. it's among 20 -30's... for example..listen to Kim Kardashian and her sisters if you can bear it
