This thread may not be for you if you are deliriously happy or had a great day. It's for those who are irked, grumpy, cranky.

Today was irritating for me. First off someone stole 2 packages from Amazon that were for me. I got up too late from when they were delivered. I have been smoltering from that much of the day.

Next, I ordered delivery from my favorite restaurant and they messed up by not bringing me everything. I called them to complain and after I told them what was wrong they thanked me for being so understanding. Little did they know that I didn't feel understanding but td off.

And finally, I put my clothes in the wrong washer because I misunderstood that it wasn't working. I lost some valuable laundry detergent doing that plus I'd just had enough BS for the day.

So I don't feel like a happy camper right now.

Did you have a bunch of baloney today or lately? Feel free to vent it here. You are not alone!

I know how you must be feeling Ruthanne. I'm really ticked off the last couple of days as my car has been on the blink. I took it to a garage and the owner said I needed a new Radiator and gave the address of one nearby. I asked him to replace it and he said to wait in the driveway. I sat there for 1 hour and then he said I could take it to get a new thermostat, I said, "Why didn't you replace it and he said No, you take it somewhere else".
what the!! so I took it to another garage near my place and he put in a new thermostat. So far I had paid $755.00 On the way home a HOLD light kept blinking on the console, so my son said to bring it up to his mechanic, Sam, the repair man, said it was the transmission and to come back in 3 hours. I went back and he said he cleaned it all out. That cost me $220.00. On the way home the HOLD light kept blinking again so I took it to an Auto Electrics garage and he said there was a fault in the gear box but he couldn't do it, that cost me $120.00. Now I find out to repair the transmission could be $2,000.00. If I do get it fixed, who's to say something else could go wrong with the car. I don't need all this stress in my life.

I have Amazon Key delivery which, along with this garage door widget called MyQ, let's Amazon (or me) open or close my garage door remotely and leave packages inside. This so we don't have to worry about porch pirates. With MyQ installed I can open and close my garage door using a smartphone. The MyQ app also has a sensor telling me whether my garage door is open or closed at any given time. Its the best thing since sliced bread!

I sympathize with you. Cars are a never ending source of aggravation. The repair shops seem to want to get all the money out of you they can. And then more goes wrong with them too. And the cycle starts again leaving us out of much money and causing irritation to say the least.

I'm due to have mine repaired too and I really dread it.

My buddy went back home to India for a holiday and picked me up this red shirt as a gift.

I threw it in the wash with my favorite jeans and other coveted shirts, socks and underwear. When the cycle was done, I opened the washing machine door and all of my clothes were a bright PINK!!!

That cheap red shirt ruined all of my clothes!

And yeah, we also call people who steal your delivered items 'porch pirates' here in Canada. Very frustrating when that happens.

That's great. I happen to live in an apartment though and I am starting to think I should cancel Prime. I can always start it up again.

Yes red stuff does need to be monitored but you never think it's going to dye all your clothes. Sorry that happened.

I am lucky, I like you are up late night and sleep a good part of the day. If I have ordered from Amazon my big dog will have a good barking when they come on the porch. I get up, get the box, then straight back to bed. The little dogs never say a word, they know when I get up for the day somehow. They will sleep through me getting up to get a package or for the bathroom.

The big dog also knows what time I get up. if I don't get up he is my alarm clock. He barks but instead of YUP, YUP he leaves off the Y and barks UP, UP UP, That bark means he needs to go out to potty LOL.

@Beezer, that is the first rule of laundry, never put a new red thing in the washing machine until you have washed it alone and made sure that it will not bleed the dye into everything else. I tend to wash every new thing alone for the first time to make sure the color does not bleed into the other laundry. Also be careful when throwing things into the dryer, things can shrink. I always hang dry things I don't want to shrink!!

I drive a 15 year old car that only has 40K miles. That does not mean it should not have regular maintenance. I take it in once a year to have a check up. Often times belts and other rubber parts must be changed/replaced, not due to wear and tear but because they get dried out after so many years. I also change the oil every three months even though I don't have/show the mileage needing it to be done. I have all the fluids checked to make sure they are clean and full. Just simple regular maintenance will make sure the car is running safe and save me from costly repairs.

Good thing you are alerted when you have a package by your doggie. I live in an apartment though and can't tell what time they drop it off. Anyhow I will try to get a refund.

My dog is always happy to see me get up. She was her tail and looks so happy. I only hope she will be with me a good long time even though she is at least about 13 or 14 now. But she is a little dog and they're known to live longer. I looked up how long dogs live of her breed and it said the age she is now is when they expire 🙃😶‍🌫️😱😤 Still I am hopeful.

Thanks for your post 😘

I'm with ya, sistah. It's 1:40 a.m., it's too hot to sleep and the air conditioning people promised us someone would be here between 7 p.m. and midnight. News flash....they weren't. No call, no answer at the company. Bah humbug. I'm hot AND bothered.
Get in the shower or tub and stay there as long as you can. I would be going up the wall without AC. There's one thing you can count on with repair people--they are never on time.

I know you take very good care of her. They deserve as much attention to their health as humans do. Mine go to the vet twice a year for a check up to make sure I catch any problems early. Seems my dogs get their teeth cleaned as much as I do. They also go to the beauty shop more than I do. LOL I just take a pair of scissors and cut my own hair. I have two that are furry and need a good groom twice a year. They get a Mom trim and bath at home in between visits. I have one that has short hair that I can take care of at home.

I try to take good care of her. She has a problem with continual ear infections. I clean her ears but the problem comes back all the time. It's very frustrating butI I either clean them or take her to the Vet to get it done. It costs a fortune so I'd rather do it myself. But I have to take her in when they have black gunk in them. I'm not happy with my current Vet and thinking of taking her elsewhere. They have not been doing a good job on ear cleaning.

I take her to the groomer every 8 weeks in the Summer and every 9 weeks in the Winter. She has to go in that often because she has problems releasing her anal glands. The groomer includes that in her fee.

It's not easy keeping up with all that when you have your own illness too. I try my best.

Has the vet suggested an ear cleaning product for use at home. I had one dog with the problem, they gave me something I could use at home on the regular and the infections stopped.

The anal gland, such a problem. My Mom had the vet teach her how to do it and she could take care of it herself. I have not tried with mine, I have a hard enough time doing there nails!! I am not going to do their back end.

Sorry Ruthanne! That was a pretty rough day!
Hope tomorrow is better.
I hate thieves!

The Vet sold me an ear cleaning solution but I'm wondering if my dog is allergic to it. After I clean her ears a day later she is scratching at them. I've been using it but the infection keeps happening. That's why I'm going to try a new Vet asap .

My dog hates anything done for her and runs away. I have to be very careful what I try with her 😉

oscash, I've been there, and done that. You didn't mention how old your car is, but when you get the "take it somebody else" routine, it usually time to get a newer car. Yeah, that's expensive, but at least it works, and you aren't bleeding over keep it running costs.

Sorry, @Ruthanne ... but no matter how awful of a day I may have been having, or may be anticipating, the subject line of your thread made me smile, so that doesn't work with cranky, crabby, or grumpy. 🤭

Besides, if I'd voice what's truly made me feel like a cranky-pants lately, someone would soon be squawking about Kate starting a political debate, so Kate shall sit by quietly 🤫 and read what the rest of ya'll are crabby about.

I have a spinal problem. So on day 1, I can be active-going to the store, errands, etc. On day 2, it's kind of like day 1, but slowed down. On day 3, I'm sore and tired. That's the day I get deliveries in the early AM, and of course, it rains. So, I've got soggy, wet cardboard box all over the place. Being sore and miserable, plus the irritations of life get to you. So Ruthanne, I am damn crabby, cranky, and grumpy- and I like it.
