I have booked 10 nights accommodation in the 2nd week of August at Dolphin Apartments in Mandurah.
Less than an hour from Perth, what used to be a small, coastal town of 25,000 when I arrived in Perth in 1990 has now grown to a city of 95,000 in 2022.
Still, it is winter time here in Australia and there will not be many people crowding the beaches and haunts,

I peeked into some of the rooms/apartments, @Bretrick ... looks as if you'll be having a fantastic vacation! Pictures... we want pictures of your time there! Have fun... (y)
There will be a picture or two, or three...
I have stayed there before now. Pleasant enough, within walking distance of all things necessary. With miles of beaches, woodlands, hills and dales.:)

Sounds great, @Bretrick ! Looks so nice. Hope you have a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Today, I started to think about Abu Dhabi. I don't know if I really want such a long plane ride. With stops, I think it's close to 18-20 hours. I forget what it was the last time I went.
Have you seen all your own country has to offer?
It would take me several lifetimes to see all of Australia's 7.688 million sq km.

I have seen a lot of the U.S. I mean a lot. I may not have explored or stayed everywhere, but I have been all over. I can't think of a state that I haven't at least been to.

There is one thing I would really like to do and that is to drive up Pikes Peak and pick up my bumper sticker.

So, Abu Dhabi on the back burner.
14,110' up the long and winding road to Pikes Peak, Colorado is next for you.

Start planning and you can be here in February 2024. Summer in Western Australia, staying in Mandurah. Seeing the wild Dolphins every day. 🐬
Oh I wish I could!
My travelling days are long over.
Of course if I were to win the multi million dollar lottery I would have a private jet with nice little beds for long flights
and visit y'all..
....ahhh ..dream ondreamy-eyes-.gif
