I have Disney+ free via my son's subscription. Have you started watching Secret Invasion? I think there have been 3 episodes so far. I'm slowly watching but it hasn't "grabbed" me yet. Truthfully, I Samuel L. Jackson wasn't in it, I might pass on that one. I'll give it another episode or two. I still haven't finished Ep1, which I started a week ago. One of our members was nice enough to let me know that Netflix also has a doc called Ladies First, about the women in Hip Hop, one of whom is New Jersey's queen...Queen Latifah. I'm sure my son will want to watch that with me.OneEyedDiva, I have the Disney+ subscription. I've watched all their Marvel TV shows. And I've watched all the Marvel and DC movies. I bought them all. I'm a comics fan dating back to the 1950s.
@OneEyedDiva Have you tried "Night Agent" yet? Don't hesitate to tell me if you don't like it!I have Disney+ free via my son's subscription. Have you started watching Secret Invasion? I resumed my Netflix subscription today. I'm glad I did. There are a couple of series I'm interested in. I didn't realize and am happy that S2 of Sweet Tooth already aired; I'm also watching the series finale of Manifest. I watched a show called Invisible City and got into it more than expected, S2 is now available. Being a Bridgerton fan, I want to see what they've done with it's spin off Queen Charlotte. There were other things on my Watchlist that I have to get back to.
@Roadwarrior Out of all the streaming services I've subscribed to, Amazon Prime IMO is the worst. I'm not crazy about their interface, although it's better than it used to be. With the exception of tons of UFO documentaries and things of that nature, there isn't much more I'm interested in seeing. I get Prime free via my MetroPCS cell plan, otherwise I'd cancel.
No, but thank you for reminding me. I just added it to my watchlist. To be honest, the synopsis doesn't make it sound that interesting, but on your say so, I will watch. Please understand however, that I have 56 shows and about 15 movies in my various watchlists, not counting the many HGTV shows on Discovery+, so it may take time for me to get to it or get into it. I can usually tell by Ep2 if a show is a keeper Sometimes like with Sleep Hollow and Will Trent, I know before the first episode ends.@OneEyedDiva Have you tried "Night Agent" yet? Don't hesitate to tell me if you don't like it!I have started to watch an over the top show called Brooklyn 99! It's slapstick all the way!
I understand completely, OED! I have dozens of shows and movies on MY watch list as well! I had to give up on Will Trent because I couldn't warm up to Will and his horrible three piece suit! Even though it fits the character he's playing! No, but thank you for reminding me. I just added it to my watchlist. And I love the show so much, I'll started watching it for the third time! I love the character development, especially watching how Faith came to respect and care about Will after what she perceived that he ruined her mother's career. His prickly ways break down enough for us to see a brilliant investigator who really cares. I also like how the actors play their characters. And the S1 finale...Wow!I understand completely, OED! I think it was four, maybe five episodes, OED! Please tell me Will gets rid of his horrible suit and I will gladly start watching again! And I love the show so much, I'll started watching it for the third time! My honorary daughter got "mad" at me (not really) because she had stopped watching T.V. I had her watch what was just supposed to be a little of Will Trent with me. She wound up watching the entire episode, then binged watch the rest of it in one day/night. She had to get up to go to work at the time too! But to each his/her own. How many episodes did you watch before you stopped OS?
Rob IMO Amazon Prime has always been tne worst of the paid (non premium) streaming services. Not enough interesting programs unless you count their UFO doc catalog. I really dislike their interface too. @RoadwarriorPeriodically I cancel all of my subscriptions, except Amazon Prime, and then restart them as I find shows I want to watch. I think it's a good way to manage things.
I like Paramount+ and Hulu too, but I've decided I'll never pause the latter. P+ gave me two free months when I went in to pause it a couple of months ago. I love Discovery+ because it's a lot less expensive than the others and has all of my HGTV beach home buying shows, as well as the rest of the HGTV catalog going back several seasons, all ad free! Although Peacock+ has ads, I like how they manage them. Sometimes it's a short video and other times it's an ad that shows when pausing a program.I use all the subscriptions. I usually pay for two in a month. I have found that Paramount + and Hulu are my favorites.
OS...you did good! I'm watched three episodes and am really into it. I like the two young leads. Like I mentioned before D.B. Woodside (Lucifer) and Fola Evans-Akingbola (Siren) add interest for me. Also I've always liked Robert Patrick (Agent Hawkins). The show's plot twists and action are engaging. What I don't like is the language. Why do writers these days feel they have to insert the F & MF words in a script to make it watchable. To me using those words to that degree is unnecessary and in fact detracts from the show. Night Agent does use that language a little too much for my liking. Still, I am glad to see it's already been renewed for S2.@OneEyedDiva Have you tried "Night Agent" yet? I am so glad you like the Night Agent, OED! It is one of my favourite shows. And I will admit, with great embarrassment, given my former calling, that I got so used to the F and MF words from previous shows and stand-up comedians that they no longer register as "bad" words.OS...you did good! BTW...I can't believe you are letting a 3 piece suit...a suit, stop you from watching an excellent show! I guess when I watch the series for the third time (which I'll surely be doing), I'll be able to tell you if there are episodes where he loses the suit.Anyway, thanks for turning me on to The Night Agent.
I don't mind an occasional F word if it's used well within context but constantly, it gets on my nerves. I'll never get used to MF. I have a female friend who lets that word roll off her tongue like it's nothing but I think she's starting to temper that around me because she knows I can't stand it. I never heard that kind of language when I was growing up, not from the grownups or my friends. I literally would flinch when the young men would use fowl language on the job I started when I was 23.I am so glad you like the Night Agent, OED! It is one of my favourite shows. It took me a long, long time to get used to MF. It is a horrendous word and I hate it to this day, but my mind mostly ignores it now, because I like a show or movie, if that makes sense! One word I will never get used to and that is to see a woman addressed as b...h! It will always be demeaning and wrong!
Sorry for getting off the subject. I started to watch "three piece suit made of the wrong material" again because you like it so much and am now up to episode 8 and loving it!
Just before anyone gets the wrong impression. I have not used the F word since I left the Navy in 1970 and the MF word is so horrendous to me I would never use it!I don't mind an occasional F word if it's used well within context but constantly, it gets on my nerves. I'm so glad you got back to Will Trent and are loving itI'm honored that you trusted my judgement so much
Wait til you see the season finale! I'll be watching more Night Agent tonight. I put Blue Bloods on hold for a "minute" to watch the show!

Hulu is folded into Disney+ in Canada and Paramount+ is one of my favourite streaming channels as well!I use all the subscriptions. I usually pay for two in a month. I have found that Paramount + and Hulu are my favorites.
Good for you! I can think of a couple of people who make me feel like calling them MFers but I call them Mickey Frickeys instead. Question: Are Hulu and Disney+ now one in the same in Canada but still separate with acknowledged affiliation?Just before anyone gets the wrong impression. I got tired of Grey's Anatomy so haven't watched the last two seasons. I never understood why they hired Ellen Pompeo to play Meredith. There was a time when I questioned whether or not I'd watch the next season, the finale hooked me such that I wanted to see the next season. that stopped happening. I don't know if Shonda Rhimes leaving had anything to do with its downward spiral. It doesn't help that half the new characters don't interest me, I can't stand Amelia, Meredith's new boyfriend and that Maggie gets on my nerves.Well, I'm back to Netflix for a couple of months. I'm watching Grey's Anatomy, but I wouldn't check into that hospital. It's staffed by high school types who spend more time in the linen closets than the operating rooms. It's entertaining, but not a serious doctor show. And I hate to admit it, but I like The Gilmore Girls. Like Grey's Anatomy, it's mostly about relationships, but not as stupid. I guess I've gotten tired of crime, blood, and gore. There's something kind of sweet about the Gilmore Girls. Yee Gods, is this me talking?
A good friend of mine was really into Westworld. Despite the fact that excellent actors such as Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Wright, not to mention that cutie James Marsden, I just couldn't get into it. As far as waiting for seasons to start and remembering what transpired last, if I need a refresher and none is shown at the beginning of the new season, I'll watch the last episode of the previous season. Season trailers are now available too on YouTube and can serve to jog the memory. @seadougThat's sad news. I wasn't aware of that. Just read that viewership plunged from 12 million to four million in the last season so they cancelled. In a way I don't blame them. The first seasons with their outlandish worlds were better!
Looks interesting, OED! I might watch it once there are a full two seasons available. As to Westworld, I had to overcome a lot of initial reluctance to watch because of the extreme brutality, even though the characters affected were A.I. But since I like Sci-Fi I stayed with the show and learned to enjoy its intricacy re. the battle between humans vs. artificially created beings who developed all too human traits.A good friend of mine was really into Westworld. OS..have you watched Invisible City on Netflix? I watched S1 just out of curiosity and got into it. I'll be watching S2.
Yes, it does look interesting. We just wrapped up Stephen King's Castle Rock on Hulu and were disappointed because the plot just seemed to fall apart. We love good crime thrillers so we're watching an oldie but goodie... The Fall on Amazon Prime.A good friend of mine was really into Westworld. By the fourth season, I expected the characters to grow up a little, but they actually got more immature.
