Russell Brand expecting accusations soon.

Who is betting the coven of sisters has found him guilty already?
Tonight his big show goes on...sold out. Somebody loves him.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He left Hollywood and movies and cleaned up his life, remarried and has kids went vegan and spiritual. He asks interesting questions now and I am curious to hear the answers. Many that I have heard, I do agree with.

The mainstream media in my country is corruption exemplified and deserves to be exposed. So far I have no issues with Russell Brand. This is just my opinion and I don't want to get killed for it. :giggle: :giggle:

I don't know much about this. From what I've seen, he had a period in his life where he was extremely promiscuous. Or so he says. These accusations come from that time. Other than that, I've seen no evidence either way, so it's difficult to say.

Brand as a comedian is not good, but he's an animal rights advocate, so that gives him one credit from me. That said, we'll just have to wait to see what comes out. I can't make a judgement based on the very little I've seen. If he's guilty, he should suffer for it. If not.... he'll suffer for it anyway given how these things work....

It doesn't seem from what we now know.. that he did anything illegal... but he did some dirty, horrible things towards women.... and even a young 16 year old .. whom he sent a Cab for to pick her up from school *ugh*... and he was in his 30's at the time.. but the descriptions by the women who don't know each other are all very similar, ..rape.. unwanted s.ex... terrible treatment both of those he used and abused.. and even the women on the production staff who worked on his shows were terrified to speak out for fear of losing their jobs
 
Once again trial by media and if i was assaulted i would not wait 10 plus years to bring up allegations. I think this was groupies and most likely consensual but after 10 plus years becomes a he said / she said thing....
I do not like Mr brand or some of the others whose lives were destroyed just by allegations but i think the proof should be there and a reasonable time frame ..... hard to even have clear witnesses after a decade.
 
Russel Brands' talent agency has severed all ties with him, saying they were 'horribly misled' by the comedian.

Talent agency Tavistock Wood, who represent the likes of Dustin Hoffman, Lily James, Charles Dance, and Dominic West, has confirmed they have terminated 'all professional ties' with Brand, who has been accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse of four women during the peak of his fame.

One of the alleged victims of sexual assault was said to be a 16-year-old schoolgirl, who claims to have contacted Brand's literary agent, who was also the co-founder of Tavistock Wood, in 2020.

In a statement, to MailOnline the agency said: 'Russell Brand categorically and vehemently denied the allegation made in 2020, but we now believe we were horribly misled by him. TW has terminated all professional ties to Brand.'

His image has also been removed from the agency's website.

Ya, Fuzzybuddy, I have never heard of this clown either. Actually, living in a cave is a good idea when it comes to some of these media stories. Can't understand why these perverts rape when there are so many hot and willing women out there? Crazy world and getting crazier each and everyday!
 
The BBC and Channel 4 are likely to face questions after turning a blind eye to Russell Brand's behaviour while he worked for them.

Television insiders predict bosses from the broadcasters will be called before a Government select committee for a grilling.

Last night the BBC confirmed that it did not investigate complaints made about Brand between 2006 and 2008 when he hosted shows for Radio 2 and 6 Music.

During his time there it was claimed that the comedian would strip naked and make sexual remarks about newsreader Andrea Simmons, describing her on air as 'erotic' and a 'sex bomb', and told his listeners that he would like to 'go under the desk' while she was reading the news.

Several times after this it is implied that Brand was forced to apologise by production staff.

Two of the women in Channel 4's Dispatches which aired on Saturday night said they felt production companies had 'enabled' Brand's behaviour.

Yep Russell is an unsavoury character and what he did to Andrew Sachs was unforgiveable (some may remember Andrew as Manuel in the comedy series Fawlty Towers). He and Ross paid the price.
I have never liked him and the stories I have heard about him from my niece when they both attended Hathaway College makes me cringe. She left to go to RADA and he was also accepted, but expelled for heroin use.

Some have forgotten to mention the silly groupies who run after anything and many did run after him.

Not all of these women are innocent.

They pandered to him and he took the bait. There are many like Brand in the UK entertainment industry and one by one they are going to be revealed.

A runner who worked with Russell Brand when he presented Big Brother's spin-off show has alleged that the star flashed her and made inappropriate advances at her.

'Rachel' - not her real name - told The Times in a report published today that when she was 24, Brand flashed his ***** at her as she walked into his dressing room.

She claims that the comedian and actor 'insinuated' that she could perform oral sex on him. Rachel said she was shocked by the comment and refused.

The alleged victim said that she felt unable to report what had happened and feared that she would lose her job if she complained.

Brand, who has denied all allegations of impropriety made against him, is alleged to have continued to pursue Rachel, despite her rejection.

Before "Me Too" we as a society were enabling all kinds of bad, twisted, and wrong behavior. Thank God it was exposed and we are changing. I'm just not sure if we can go back and right every wrong.
That said, if the allegations are illegal there should be consequences for all involved.
We need to be careful though, that we are not enabling enemies political or otherwise to use the current climate to silence people.

Not at all. He's as much of an alarmist as our msm is. It seems hypocritical to me. I don't know much about him. He married Katy Perry years ago and they divorced fairly quickly. Sometimes he has something interesting to say but I hate alarmists in any form of media whether it's mainstream or Russell Brand or any independent journalist so I don't see much of what he says, only very occasionally.

Take it with a grain of salt. Folks in the U.K. would know him much better than I do. All I know of him was his life in America and how he's now interested in exposing corruption in the media and government and unelected officials. That's really all. He goes after Bill Gates and that is probably what is contributing to his downfall?

I doubt very much that The Times which is a very respected Newspaper in the Uk.. and Channel 4 Dispatches another credible investigative programme, would be in the last bit interested in any Spat between Brand and Gates..
 
I never cared much one way or the other about Brand. It’s very easy to take down a celebrity, especially a kinky one.

This reminds me of a formerly, very popular Canadian broadcaster, Gian Ghomeshi.

Basically he was acquitted because he’d kept notes, letters and emails during the time of the kinky relationships in which some had raved how they loved it. The women also collaborated prior to telling their stories. His career was destroyed.

This media hysteria we are seeing is going to back fire sooner or later. In many cases proof is not always required before the man in question is hounded and we’ve seen a lot of this in recent years.

Accusing someone of predatory sexual behaviour has become a quick and easy way to discredit or destroy reputations and careers. Quite frankly I am sick of it.

If this sort of behaviour continues it will be very difficult to separate the real predators from the misfits like Brand.

These women are not babies and could have come forward before. Why didn’t they?? Shouldn't they take some responsibility for accepting such behaviour from men of whom they have prior knowledge of bad behaviour??

It must be remembered the age of consent in England and Wales is 16.
The 16 year old mentioned was actually in a relationship with Brand.
There was nothing “criminal” here.
She consented and the rest we do not know. Where were her parents?? Where? Were they blind? Or did they turn a blind eye seeing some monetary value in the relationship?

I don’t like the man, but fair reporting is necessary…

Then it is even more sad they did not have the guts to come forward before a decade.... and protect any other women who might have taken a job with this guy..... i wonder if one early accuser could have prevented another accuser of being assaulted .....

Do not get me wrong some thing may have happened to them but #1 working for they should have heard rumors or such to distant themselves AND even quit ........but what did they do to protect any other women taking a job with this person.

His talent agency distancing themselves is for self preservation not the we care mode it is made out to be.
My hope is if women want to be brave and help get scum put away do not wait a decade plus to bring it up .... leaves too many questions about what happened.

Last night he received a standing ovation after his show and the press outside a very hostile reception.
