Israel Has Declared War after Unprecedented Hamas Attack

@hollydolly

The US congress just approved $100-million in "humanity assistance" to Palestine. I can't believe they aren't aware that Iran gives them $200-Billion every year, plus a couple million here and there throughout the year. I don't believe our president isn't aware of that, at least.

But maybe he does nap during briefings. I mean, if this assistance is a strategy I sure can't figure out the endgame and who benefits from it.
Is that money that was already approved or taken from a slush fund? There was a request for that amount this past week but it's not yet approved. Some say it won't be. Just trying to determine if you are talking new money or old money.

Edited to add I think we should be talking billions, not millions if it's the recent request. So much money, I can't think straight about it. o_O

This is a recent assist. pkg., and I heard today that it was passed, but the report also said that Palestine is only getting part of the $100-mil (I think they said $14-mil) and Ukraine and multiple international charity orgs. are getting the rest.

The kind of stuff this funding will cover includes flashlights, blankets, toys and art supplies for kids, food and OTC medicines...stuff like that. Plus it'll cover transit costs and then individual delivery vehicles and the gasoline for them, and the drivers, and the people who sort all this stuff and box it up....

No country or gov't is getting cash.

Harvard loses another major donor over its ‘dismal failure’ to take an ‘unequivocal stand against the barbaric murders’ of Israelis by Hamas

BYJanet Lorin and Bloomberg

“We are stunned and sickened at the dismal failure of Harvard’s leadership to take a clear and unequivocal stand against the barbaric murders of innocent Israeli civilians by terrorists last Saturday, the Sabbath and a festival day,” the foundation wrote in a letter signed by the Wexners, President Rabbi B. Elka Abrahamson and Ra’anan Avital, the director general.

At least one other Ivy League school is losing donors as well.

Hamas Rockets Placed Near Schools, Mosques, UN Buildings

Deliberately placing civilians at risk is a violation of international law. But for Hamas, it is a win-win: either the sensitive location will deter Israel from attacking, or else it will maximize the public relations damage to Israel if it does attack and there are civilian casualties.

Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Iranian-backed terror groups, like Palestinian Islamic Jihad, frequently use this tactic in the hope of deterring Israel and also placing it under international pressure to stop fighting and simply accept the murders of its citizens.

It is legal, under international law, for Israel to target civilian facilities that Hamas has converted to “dual use” for military purposes. Israel prefers not to do so if it can avoid those targets, though it is often falsely accused of attacking civilians in Gaza.

Here's a report posted minutes ago in the Live Update of the Israeli Times.
Parents of a wounded hostage son are bound for the U.S. to seek support for their son's release.
No idea what "horse power" they hope to incur, when in the U.S. there is seemingly only a patchwork of protests and rallies.
They apparently aren't U.S. citizens and no political connections are implied.
Maybe there was a handshake or hug when the U.S. President met with victims relatives when he was there(?)
But who in their right mind thinks he would recognize them if he passed them on the street or even remember them.
The thing is though, parents will do ANYTHING to support, help and defend their children.
And there is never any stopping until resolution. Bless and Pray for them.

Hundreds gather to support Hersh Goldberg-Polin’s parents as they travel to US to campaign for his release

Hundreds of people gather in Jerusalem to support the parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin as they leave their home to travel to the United States to campaign for the release of their son, held captive in Gaza by terrorists.

Goldberg-Polin was taken hostage when gunmen stormed the Supernova desert rave at Kibbutz Re’im on October 7.

His arm was blown off below the elbow by a grenade during the attack, adding to his parents fears that he may not be receiving the care he needs.

From the religion of peace ... absolutely disgusting
Letter with DATE: 18 OCTOBER 2023

In a startling revelation, an official document recently published by the supposedly “moderate” Palestinian Authority is shown to outline explicit calls for the murder of Jewish individuals, as it calls on imams to incite violence against Jews in Friday sermons, citing a religious text for Muslims to “fight the Jews” and “kill” them all.

Of course the letter was not in English, but below is a translation with Sources in Religious (Sharia) Law listed ...

Wow! Israel has got ..........

Every Jewish kid on the face of this planet, and we are everywhere, us 'wandering' Jews, has learned since birth about constant persecution throughout our existence, culminating with the Holocaust.

Maybe we have what is pictured above because there is nothing else left. I'm disgusted as we have given the world so much..........including Jesus.............heck, even Bob Dylan! Einstein! And still, and always. What have we got to lose? Hate comes no matter what paths have been taken throughout time.

On a two block stretch of my neighborhood there are almost 10 'smoke' shops. All Arab owned. All with Arab young men hanging outside, smoking dope. All day, 24/7. All. 10. Yet, they won't sell beer. Everything else, though, everything: gambling - lotto; cigarettes; smoke paraphenalia; actual dope, under the counter as they haven't received licenses yet (which is more the fault of NYState & City). Besides their distinctive silver lights, one even has those little 'flaglets' in Palestinian colors. That's their right, we're in America.

The above sounds hateful of me. I'm almost ashamed. HAH! Why should I be, just reporting factually.

If recent means last week more money was requested along with money for Ukraine and many other things but as part of Congress is not currently functional it has not yet been approved. Even when things are functioning again I'm thinking there is going to be a big fight over some of it.

The reason I asked you was due to my own confusion with who paid for that first big shipment of aid. I think it may have been some international groups but still not sure.

Naturally, you bring so much good information to the topic. I can only wish that the pro-Palestinians would read it.

Placing weapons next to schools, apartments, hospitals, etc., has been used so many times by terrorist groups to get Israel to fire at the launchers and then the media will pick up the terrorist claims that Israel bombed a school, hospital, civilians, whatever. They sacrifice their own people to win the media war.

Pepper, I have wondered about how it is where you live in NYC. We read about so much about crime there.

I don't get out to every part of my city but I haven't seen a Palestinian flag so far. I will be looking for one now. There are always American flags here, on many houses and many businesses.

It's gain on criticism of the other. The Communists use it all the time. They go around bumping into local navy ships and We drive down the Straight and get "the USA is destabilizing the area. Haha

Hey ya try to damage my boat and me, the captain will fire a shot across your friggen bow or worse. haha

Bulling will never change.

Israel has released a new snippet of unedited footage captured from the bodycam of a Hamas gunman during the terror group's ruthless October 7 attacks on unsuspecting civilians.

The clip showed how the gunman, brandishing his AK-47 assault rifle, ordered a pair of Israelis driving slowly along the road to stop their car.

Without giving the driver a second to comply, the gunman immediately starts blasting bullets into the vehicle from mere feet away, and the passengers can be seen recoiling from the rounds in the cabin as the car rolls past.

The release of the footage was announced by government spokesman Eylon Levy to counter what he says is a 'Holocaust denial-like phenomenon' amid backlash over Israel's airstrikes of the Gaza Strip.

The brief clip was just one tiny part of a 45-minute-long compilation of unedited footage Israel's officials showed to a pool of journalists at a military base in Tel Aviv this morning.

That footage will not be released, Israel says, until all of the families of those killed within view it and give permission, meaning it is unlikely the whole clip will ever be seen by the public.

But journalists who attended the screening spoke of the utter horror with which they were confronted.

Oh yeah, that's right....we need a house speaker.

Maybe they did an Up or Down vote. I don't think they need a speaker to do that. But I'll go back and see if I can find that report; I may have just misunderstood the whole report.

Americans overwhelmingly support Israel in war with Hamas: poll

More than 80 percent of Americans are siding with Israel amid an ongoing war against Hamas in a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll shared with The Hill.

The survey found that 84 percent of respondents sided more with Israel in the Israel-Hamas war, compared to 16 percent who sided with Hamas.

Broken down by age, 52 percent of 18-to-24-year-olds said they sided more with Israel, while 48 percent said they sided more with Hamas. In contrast, 95 percent of respondents 65 years and older said they sided with Israel while 5 percent sided with Hamas.

The survey also found that roughly three-fourths of respondents — 76 percent — said Hamas’s killing of 1,200 Israeli civilians could not be justified by the grievances of Palestinians, while 24 percent said it could be justified. (Figures for the number of Israeli civilians killed during the war have risen from 1,200.)

Boston, MA - a woman at an upscale shopping center in Chestnut Hill was spotted removing posters of Israeli children kidnapped to Gaza by Hamas terrorists.

UPDATE: this woman has been identified as Dr. Zena Al-Adeeb, an endodontist.

Her employer has announced she has been fired effective October 21st.

In unrelated incidents, dentists in Miami and in Boston have been fired for tearing down posters of Israelis kidnapped by Hamas in Gaza.

Dr. Zena Al Adeeb, Endodontist has been relieved of her position at a dental office in Brookline MA. This after video circulated on social media of the dentist tearing down the posters of missing Israelis who have been kidnapped by Hamas, the terror organization that runs the Gaza Strip.

After video posted to social media showed Zena Al Adeeb ripping down posters of missing Israelis kidnapped by Hamas, she was condemned for anti semitism on social media.

Reportedly, a dentist in Florida also lost his job after ripping down similar posters. "Miami dentist Ahmed Elkoussa has been fired after he unknowingly went viral for ripping down posters of kidnapped Israelis,” tweeted Colin Rugg. "The incident happened on Tuesday & by Wednesday he was fired from his job. In a blistering statement, CG Smile blasted Elkoussa for being a terrorist supporter. "We are very sad to see this situation upon waking up. Our office CG Smile is not in favor of any of the actions taken by Dr. Elkoussa. We do not support terrorist groups, actions or supporters."

"He has been removed from our staff, all of our social media pages and groups. CG Smile DOES NOT support terrorist groups actions or supporters.”

Marc L Nevins, DMD posted the following statement on his dental practice’s website:

"Acts of terror against the State of Israel and innocent people must be condemned. Acts of antisemitism, racism, and bigotry that assault members of our community based on their heritage or beliefs cannot be tolerated and must equally be condemned. No healthcare service institution or clinical practice should permit activities that by word or deed create the deep hurt that threatens our community and our healing."

"It has come to our attention that a clinician working as an adjunct member of our clinical practice has been accused of taking actions that are contrary to our community standards and to the basic values of my clinical practice. After having reviewed the facts and circumstances, the individual no longer works with our practice effective October 21, 2023."

In Boston and Miami, Dentists Fired For Tearing Down Posters of Jews Taken Prisoner by Hamas

The pampered elites in academia and other domestic emissaries of evil have been busily creating false narratives to distract from the magnitude of what Hamas did. Anti-semites and fascists of all stripes are outing themselves at an astonishing pace. I want to see them unmasked for who and what they really are. They have turned their backs on Israel while clutching their pearls over the “humanitarian crisis” in Gaza but have not spent a lot of time talking about the over two hundred kidnapped people held as hostages by terrorists. Instead, they should be DEMANDING Hamas release all hostages immediately. I wonder if they would, had their children, young women, and elderly been among the victims?

I saw some reports about people tearing down the posters of the hostages but didn't realize that some were professionals. I thought they were college students which is bad enough.

Somehow knowing that even doctors and dentists, professionally educated people, have a level of hatred that allows them to do things like this points out how deep the hate for Israel runs even more than some of the other things we've seen.

Why couldn't have the young girl Noya and her Grandma be released? Why were THEY alone found dead from amongst the hostages?

There was a Pro Palestine demonstration here in Toronto yesterday at the Ontario Provincial Legislature building by a SMALL group of medical workers. When I say small, I mean exactly eleven people. All of them were Medical Doctors, all of them were from a Muslim country, and all of them were carrying Palestinian flags. I say that it is a good thing that these terror supporters are outing themselves, so the public can know who they are, and avoid them.

On a related note, a Member of the Ontario Legislature ( who expressed direct hatred to wards Jews on her official website ) has been removed from the caucus of her political party, by the New Democratic Party's leader. This woman who is a Muslim, will still sit in the Legislature, but as an independent Member. The Integrity Commissioner is investigating other allegations against her by the Law Society of Ontario.
