There are days you just want to scream!!!

I had a horrible day yesterday. It was one thing after another. My tire needed air. Do you have any idea how many gas stations have broken air pumps? And do you know how many you find broken after you put the $1.50 in? Let me put it this way- the best part of the day was trying to get a huge order through a self check out at the grocery story. One more "place the item in the bagging area, place the item in the bagging area" when I already did, or "assistance needed" #%$$$.&%$#. Then coming home on the Interstate at 14 miles an hour, due to backed up in traffic, because some guy was changing a flat on the side of the road- more$%%$@&%*#%$%.

I'm so impressed you got air for your tire. My car complained about low tire pressure last month and I couldn't face trying to figure out where to go so I just recalibrated to stop it from alerting me.

Last year when I was traveling, one city (I forget which!) had a wonderful tire place that had a machine that filled all the tires up to the recommended amount, and they didn't charge anything.

I completely understand. There are very few garages with air pumps now in the UK.. so having to drive for miles stopping at every garage on the way to find somewhere I could pump my tires aand ending up many miles from home was not fun.. which is why I bought my own digital tyre inflater

I don't know if you are retired or not. If not then hopefully when you retire, I hope like me that kind of frustration will go away.

Believe me I understand. I have anxiety and zero patience. There are days that just can't end soon enough. They have portable air pumps you can invest in that often charge at home and carry in the car. I have an $80 one but I think they have some smaller ones. I don't do self checkout. I know I'd get too mad and probably start swearing like a banshee and get banned from the store. *hehe*

I've carried a small 12v air pump in the vehicles for years....and a can of Fix-a-Flat.....nothing more aggravating than a flat/leaking tire. The way my life goes, its a great day when I don't find something starting to break. Today, it was the strap on my wristwatch that fell apart...typical day.

Aren't there any places there that have free air pumps? The Stewarts chain of convenience stores has them, but I guess that's irrelevant now especially if they're not in your area.
I keep a air pump in my trunk that kooks into the car's cigarette lighter.
A couple of days ago I took a friend to to help me get air in my tire. I went equipped with a pocket full of quarters. We stopped at a Quik Trip and the air pump was working and it was free! Don't know if you have Quik Trip in your area but if you do it is worth a try.

I feel you. And my horrible days are usually related to car issues. (Yes, First World problems.) A few weeks ago the roads were being paved where I live and I went too fast from a paved to non-paved stretch. Not only did it create a bubble in my tire, my rim was bent. I had noticed a bounce in the ride and when the tire shop replaced the tire they showed me how bent the wheel was. I needed a new tire AND wheel. :( I also wanted to scream. But then I think about the many people who can't afford cars and have to take public transportation or are home bound and I calm down.

I'm sorry you had to go through this. I hope all is in order now.

If your tires would have stood it you might have "opened it up" for a few laps around the Speedway. Course you'd probably have used up all 4 of your tires and blown your engine in the process.

We will definitely trade with you..... even let you pick the day.
Tuesday .... Follow up with my orthopedic Dr... 2 different fracture repairs are not healing.... Surgery on at least one scheduled for the 21st, I spend Christmas in the hospital.
Wednesday.... Wife goes in for her follow up for lung surgery removing a spot and biopsies. Biopsies are all benign, but the removed spot is stage 2 cancer.

Which one you want?
