Pot is Legal on Dec.7 in Ohio,Now Lawmakers Trying to Change What Was Specified By Voters!

@PurplePansies

Why don't you answer my question? Where are you going where you are inhaling pot at such a high rate of frequency??

I'm waiting...

There sure are a lot of "get off my grass" people on here! If you get upset by comments from people who are passionate about a subject, then stay away from the tough topics! GEEZ! Of course, next time I check, I'll be banned because some of you Karens can't deal with the pushback. Don't bother. I'm outta here.
I think it's more your tone. We can all disagree from time to time, but let's try and keep it civil.

What insults, Weedy? You potheads just refuse to consider anyone else. You're addicted and act just like any drug addict. Trust me, you haven't heard any insults from me. You couldn't handle my insults. What's with you potheads refusing to accept the fact that your smoke is not healthy for us? What's with you potheads who refuse to consider consuming your drugs in a way that doesn't affect others. I haven't said anything that isn't 100% true. Don't like being called pothead? Then don't be a pothead!
Again with the insults and name calling pansy? Stop your ignorant lies and insults.

Just stop being so churlish and judgmental, and we'll stop teasing you about it all.

There is zero reason for those of us who have health issues with smoke and/or who get physically ill from the smell of Skunk (love that!) should have to put up with it when there are ways for these people to consume their drugs without us having to smell it. That has been my entire point, but, for some reason, people who are addicted to Skunk don't care. They have no common courtesy.

People who smoke pot don't actually get 'addicted'. I used to smoke it but just quit without any withdrawal or side effects save, taking longer to fall asleep, because it's not even as addictive as cigarettes. More like a habit similar to chewing your fingernails. And by the way, I never objected to being called a pot head when I smoked.🙂

Some people take anti-depressants, I'd have a puff now and then. Instead of making the pharmaceutical industry richer by taking something that has been found to have significant side effects in some cases, to the point where doctors are concerned if you just stop taking the stuff and prefer instead, that users wean themselves off slowly over time.

It's true, very useful to use a small amount for sleep, pain, etc. whether smoked or ingested. Much safer and not as addictive as some prescription medications that are out there. Some are highly addictive and harsh on the stomach.

There are still federal laws to follow.

You might have the answer there. Isn't there a whole lot of hoops to jump through in order to even get hold of any to do research? Back when there was a lot of discussion about the benefits of pot derivitives used in treating seizures, I think I may have heard something like that.

I do remember seeing a video once of a man with advanced Parkinsons and the poor guy couldn't sit still and peacefully at all. I thought it looked exhausting to be him. But he had a single puff and in about 5 minutes, his body had quit vibrating and he sat quietly, having a conversation with the fellow who delivered it to him. I'm not sure if it affects everyone like that, but it seems to me that for the sake of that alone, laws should be amended at least for the sake of researchers who are trying to help people.

I'll have to check that out. I'm sure there are video's online that explain the process. Would be preferred and since I have an awful time with insomnia, much preferable to sleeping pills which Canadian doctors are really reluctant to prescribe for these days.
I don't know if this company ships outside the US, but I have been using them for years. I mostly use their topical balm/salve for muscle aches and pains, very effective.

I have been using this product for sleep when I need it, it can be used in conjunction with edible THC if desired. It is expensive, but I try to buy when they have sales, usually around holidays. Just thought this was worth a mention.

It was a political move for votes, but NJ has legalized pot. You can possess up to 6oz but there is no retail outlet where you can buy it. That was in 2021. Only medical marijuana is sold. And it's still illegal to drive under the influence but I am not up to speed on the current testing process for impaired drivers.

You can't smoke pot in a public place in NJ though. Smoke away in your home all you want.

You mentioned the perfume and I completely agree, it can be awful, particularly if you happen to give someone a ride somewhere and they reek in your car. My friends husband loves men's cologne and he bathes in it sometimes. The other thing that can stink up a neighbourhood is all those drier sheets that are scented! As for cigarettes, I haven't noticed that nearly as much in the past few years.
When I worked as a quality control inspector, I sat near a women who marinated herself with her favourite perfume. If a donut was too close to her proximity, it would taste like her perfume. It was bad.

I don’t blame people for hating the smell of pot. It stinks. Cigarettes stink too.
I know longer smoke pot but I do at times use small amounts but I use it in a discrete vap in my own home miles away from others. It’s a tiny little device and it doesn’t smell like it does a joint. It has a scent but it’s a very diluted scent since it vaped not smoked.

Canna coconut oil or butter is easy to make in a crock pot. You use ‘heat only’ which is the lowest temperature. Better yet…..

Cannabis and coconut oil: Benefits, uses & how to make it

Coconut oil is a great oil to use. It’s a very healthy oil to use for many reasons but coconut oil is solid at room temperature.

You can purchase clear capsules at the drug store and make your old meds. Before Canada legalized it I had a prescription so experimented. This works great for arthritis.

It’s fairly easy to make your own custom meds. Taking capsules is more predicable that having edibles. Edibles are unpredictable.
Capsules can be measured accurately so you know exactly how much you are taking.

I don’t use everyday but I do use. I’ve thought about quitting but it works so well for pain and I don’t drive.

Good luck. I hope you find something that works for you.

A crock pot? Really. I always thought a rice cooker was necessary but I have such a tiny kitchen that I have no more room for additional appliances of any sort. But I do have a crock pot so I'll have to give this a try. Thanks for the info.

As for the pain, I've found that when I have the flu, it really helps with the aches and pains and my one uncle was using a cream with 'something' in it (not sure if CBD or THC) but it really helped for some skin issues he was having as well as rubbing into his bad knees.

Like I was saying to Peppermint Patty, my uncle used a cream on his really bad knees. It did provide some relief.

The reason I don't inhale pot is because I can't drive after using. I'm strictly Joe Sixpack usually and can pace myself with the drinking. But the pot buzz hits me like a rocket so I refuse to drive after smoking up.
Keep kidding yourself about the Joe Sixpack and driving. I was once a cop and you'd lose your license in a heartbeat. Not one beer. Nada!

Yes a crock pot makes the nicest canna butter and canna oil. You can experiment and decide how strong you want it. You don’t have to make edible goodies with it. Maybe use a teaspoon full on toast or something.

You can even freeze it. The THC level is lessened but only slightly. You can CAN it in mason jars. This will work internally with pain and the CBD balm stuff that Seabreeze told you about , works well externally

You’ll figure something out.
