If you live in a place that gets cold during the winter, I'm curious what do you set your thermostat on to keep warm. If you have a fireplace, that's a nice bonus.
My thermostat is set at 69*. This is a 1900 square foot tri-level house so a lot of space to heat. The furnace is only a couple years old, thank God, and when it does run it's only on for around 7 minutes at a time (I timed it).
We replaced every window in this house last year because the old windows were drafty and didn't close completely in some rooms. It's been an energy-saver, I'm sure.
