What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

Saw this yesterday pm. Asked my grandson to watch it with me, but I was turned down. He saw it in theater with his parents. He didn't really want to go, but did as all his friends saw it. He insists he is over Paw Patrol. I'm not!

I enjoyed it! In the middle, they FaceTimed me & I said what I was doing and grandson didn't seem pleased, but I said "Hey, I've been asking & asking you to watch it with me & I couldn't wait anymore!"

Finished up season 2 of Fisk on NF or Prime. Forget which. There’re only 6 episodes in each and they’re only 22 minutes. This is from Australian TV. Hilarious, imo.

I watched "The Mighty" recently about a friendship with two young teenagers. The mother of one of them, who had a fatal disease, was Sharon Stone.I have seen it many times and bought a CD of the music, most done by "Sting."

Parts of it are very sad but it always ends in an uplifting way.
Other than that I have watched fairly recently three movies I own ,but if they come on TV I usually watch them again, on TV: Patton, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and The Manchurian Candidate.

My favorite actors are Anthony Hopkins ( won Academy award for "The Father"- a very unusual movie) and he also played former President Nixon in "Nixon", starred in "The Silence of the Lambs", and portrayed "The Elephant Man".many more

and Denzel Washington. "Glory", Manchurian Candidate", "Devil in a blue Dress", many more .Both are exquisite actors.

"Glory" is a true story, one of the best historic Movies I have ever seen.

In a few minutes we're going to watch "The Fall of Minneapolis," a documentary the producers say is about what really, truly happened surrounding the death of George Floyd. In a summary I'm looking at it says the film includes newly released badge-cam footage and witness interviews that were never aired.

Regarding badge-cam footage, Michelle said she's going to be watching for CGI and other post-production magic :p

Should be interesting.

Zach Snyder's "Justice League." Much better than the original, including clarification of some plot events. But kept some of the classic lines. When Barry (aka Flash) asks Bruce (aka Batman) what his superpower is, Bruce says: "I'm rich." When Clark (aka Superman) asks Bruce how he got the Kent family farm back from the bank, Bruce replies: "I bought the bank."

I haven't been to a movie theater in years.

If you are talking about a movie on TV, then it would be A Christmas Story (1983), and it's sequel A Christmas Story Christmas (2022)
