Can you say McFLATION
I make my own too.Yes..I made really nice eggy muffin type sandwiches. They are good. The ones from McD's are good...but not THAT good
Burger is the same here..I nearly passed out a few months ago. Knowing that MaccyD's is so cheap and burger king pretty much was the same last time I bought anything.. which was a long time ago... and always preferred Burger king to Mac/dees.. I got a Bacon double cheeseburger ... and a small coke, and nearly fainted when they asked for almost £13.00I bought a Whopper at Burger King.
It was $8.70. I thought the clerk made a mistake...but nope.
Much more variety in your menu @hollydolly . We don't have oatmeal or pancakes or the fruit breakfast choice .. as well as other differences.
we had the same advert hereHow long until the high cost fast food is no longer a choice?
As one of the most famous sandwiches, not just in the United States but throughout the world, the Big Mac was even enshrined in a television commercial jingle in 1974: Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. The sandwich is so well known that the Economist magazine publishes The Big Mac Index, which uses Big Mac prices to approximate the cost of living, or purchasing power, in countries around the world. When it debuted in 1967, the Big Mac cost 45 cents, equivalent to $3.95 today; but the current average price is $5.17. These days, the sandwich price in the U.S. varies considerably from state to state.

US route 95, not I 95.The McD's location is in a service plaza on I95 one of the busiest roads in the US so it's a captive audience and high rent. If one ventured off the Interstate highway more reasonable prices likely prevail.
You are 1000% wrong.US route 95, not I 95.
Sounds like a "local" issue. I stopped by a local McDonalds a few days ago, after an early doctor appt., and got a Sausage/Egg McMuffin and a senior coffee for $3.A Connecticut McDonalds is now charging $7.29 for an/one egg mcmuffin. No meal
No it cost $7.29 not $4 because they were on Interstate 95 in Fairfield CT and didn't want to spend 15 mins looking to save $3 cause they had more important things to do so they paid the PREMIUM for convenience because they could.Or if on the run, such a sandwich might cost $4 at most.
The Mc D's location is 165 Round Hill Road Fairfield CT in the service plaza on Interstate 95.
