Reflections of My Life

I'm not sure if I will be able to post music on the blog but that's what I'm hoping for.
After you digitize them, you could upload at YouTube.com, then link to the individual pieces from your blog. Or, if the blog software permits, display the song on the blog itself — just like one could do here on SF.

Oh ok, yes I will do that. I have many interests and several ideas ranging from religion and philosophy to nature and sailing, crafting, literature and poetry, so many topics really, so I may need multiple blogs. But the one I want to do first is to do with music.

I got on a cleaning bug recently and discovered a box of cassette tapes of some of the bands I used to play in. I would like to bio the bands, share some of the funny stories and give a picture of what it's like to be a working musician and hopefully include the songs once I get them in digital format and cleaned up of background noise.

That sounds like a great idea! If it is your music I am sure you can post it. Otherwise it depends on the copywrite of your music.

Have you heard from your son, yet?

Can you call the police to do a Welfare Check on him?
I forgot that I told you all about me not hearing from him. Prayed like crazy last night and this morning. Almost as soon as I said "Amen" my intercom was buzzing! Jeff was here. I asked him why I hadn't heard from him for two days and he said he was talking to ghosts!! See what I mean about him?

I think he will be. I just finished the paperwork and will be giving it to the manager tomorrow if she is here.

I have been concerned about his apartment building as it is what I call a "ghetto apartment" meaning the landlord does not care about it. It has a terrible reputation and I worry all the time it will have a fire or be shut down. It has worn my heart down thinking that I have let him live there all this time. I think he needs me and maybe things would not be so bad for him if I could help him. I can if he is living here.
I think that is an excellent idea to have him in the same apartment as you. It will also simplify both of your lives in so many ways. I hope and pray all goes well on that end.

I hadn't mentioned it here but Tuesday, my neighbor, the nice man across the hall (the one the complainer has been picking on) was in an accident at the Grand Union. On his bicycle. He is in the hospital and of course, we have no way of knowing his condition. The hospital won't give out that information and he has no family. So I am just waiting to hear something. I had just talked with him Tuesday morning. He always comes to my door to ask me something.

Everyone was asking me how I knew so much about it. I just say Facebook. The people proud not to use computers keep asking me if I know anything else about him. That is the way I knew he was in the accident. They were talking about it on the scanner page and so many people love him. I hope he will get better and come home. He is 86 years old and rode his bicycle every day, even in bad weather.

You are a good musician , I'm sure your blog will be interesting.

I did my laundry and it is now in the dryer. Soon as that is done, folded and put away I will make my breakfast. One of the washing machines still had 7 minutes to go yet I started them at the exact same time. It was puzzling. Probably has something wrong with it. Again.

One more thing I am trying to work on is to get the scanner to scan to my computer. I doubt this will work since the Epsom scan drivers are not compatible with a Linux OS. There are ways around this I know. Just got to get my brain working.

Kat,, really hope having your son closer works well for both of you.

Perhaps as he get used to having people around who talk with you will get him talking to real people.

When he says he's been talking with ghosts, perhaps he is remembering folks from his past?
He is talking to people from his past, plus celebrities and people I never heard of, etc.

Yesterday I helped the others who live on my hall to take down the Christmas wreaths that were hanging on the walls. We hadn't gotten to it yet because the lady who usually does this is the one who lost her daughter on Christmas Eve. It was nice talking to everyone while doing it. Getting to know the two couples who moved in last fall. The live on each side of me. I just don't see them much. They are both younger and go out a lot more.

Because I was standing for longer periods of time than I am used to my knees have been very painful. I could not even wash my dishes last night. Doing that right now. I have some household chores to do but will do them slowly and probably not all of them today. Tomorrow is another day.

How old is he? My son didn't start this until 2015, when he was 45. Now he is 54 and he talks to them all the time. I guess there are a lot of other things that are worse than talking to ghosts. I don't say anything against it to him.
he's 9 years old...very traumatized..had to repeat his memory over and over to investigators of seeing mom or boyfriend murder baby brother....
he's going to be okay...

Ah yes, link to YouTube. This is all quite new to me but I'm beginning to figure out the software and how to eliminate most of the annoying background noise from the recordings.

It is my music, and I list and give credit also to the other band members I was involved with as well as some biographical information and some rather humorous stories. Hopefully someone else will get a chuckle out of it too.

This is my new Epson ET-2850 printer. I am so proud of myself to be able to set it up and use it with my OS with no problems. I did it! It works good.......so far!

This is the inks it uses instead of ink cartridges that I hated using. They were always dried up when I got them or didn't last long in the printer. I don't print a lot of things but it is nice to be able to print something without it always telling you that your cartridges are too low.
