Lew, there is a bench in a park where I used to live, very similar to the one in your picture. I go there now and again and sit on it, and when I do, the years roll back and I remember a girl named Rita, we were only 14 and still at school and we made all kinds of plans for the future.
My family moved away and I never saw Rita again, that was more than 70 years ago and I often wonder what became of her.
Thank you for evoking a memory. 😊
