I have the opposite problem. I’m just under 5’7” and have an extra long torso which means I have to purchase an extra size larger. If I don’t then they pull in sensitive areas.I have a short torso, so, that's another problem with getting the right fit in pants. I've got quite a collection

I rarely now see "petite" sizing anymore.

That’s the truth. Even then, they’re for those 5’4” and under. At the Bay, the petite sizes are rare and they’re frumpy. I’m not that old (in my mind or spirit).

In order to better escape record 100F heat, bought online via Fandango, a 3pm movie ticket today for IMO not recommended boring "A Quiet Place: Day One". Well they never sent an email to get in the door, however a theater worker verified I provided the correct email address and charged my credit card. At least it was nicely cool inside, haha.
Afterwards, went into an adjacent Safeway supermarket and bought a small $3.99 container of chicken fried rice I ate 2 hours ago, and quart of salted caramel vanilla ice cream I plan to enjoy in a few minutes with a cold can of ginger ale.

I've been debating on this purchase for quite a while and I finally bit the bullet on Wednesday and ordered a new sewing machine. My favorite machine that I've used for 14 years has started having issues. I've done all the things that I needed to do to try to correct the problem but it's still acting up. My new machine is coming today
