My Electric Trimmer/ Razor

Just bought it recently. It's been a Gawd send!

I just use the trimmer all over my face and neck I end up with a very light, grey shadow. I don't have to use shaving cream and a straight razor anymore! The light shadow also covers up those pesky age-related wrinkles! It's a win! :)

I could never get to grips with an electric shaver, so I've always used a good old fashioned safety razor. It's becoming difficult to buy blades for them in the UK because of course gangs will use them a weapons or some such scare story.

I keep a beard. So an electric trimmer is a must. If I ever decide to shave it off, then I'll electric trim it as close as I can then use a disposable safety razor to finish the job.

I cut my own hair so the trimmer is useful there too. But I also have a pair of barbering shears for that.

I won't win any awards for how my hair looks but the top of my head is bald with a comb over. I wear a baseball cap hat when I go out so I look younger that way and it hides any imperfections in my hair cut.

But the electric trimmer is great. I had to buy one that runs while plugged in. It does hold a charge, but not long enough between uses. I hate to be needing a trim and then spend a few hours charging it before using.

That is a nice hat. I would be afraid to wear a white hat because of my self-confessed proclivity to immediately begrime any white garment (or hat) that I don.

I’ve shaved with electric razors for decades now. No, the shave isn‘t as close as what a blade delivers, but then again I don’t have to walk around with dried blood from shaving cuts on my face at unpredictable times, either… 🙀

I like a close shave, so I use my Gillette 3 blade razor and follow by my straight razor to do the sideburns and neck. I also have a nose hair trimmer that also saves the fine hair off the ears and eyebrows. It does a very good job.

I just get tired of shaving almost everyday.
