Daylight saving time - keep or toss

this topic is almost a dead horse... the US will be switching back to standard time in 2-3 months.

is there any logical/scientific reason to continue changing our clocks twice a year?

do you say keep it or dump it?

Dump it. This is just an AI overview but I have seen other studies that report the same thing.

"Some studies suggest that there may be an increase in heart attacks on the Monday after daylight saving time (DST) begins, while others suggest that the effect is minimal:
  • American Heart Association
Points to studies that suggest an increase in heart attacks on the Monday after DST, and in strokes two days after. The American Heart Association suggests that the abrupt circadian disruption may exacerbate factors such as high blood pressure in people already at risk.
  • Michigan study
Found a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the switch to DST.
  • Mayo Clinic study
Looked at 36,116,951 adults across most U.S. states and found a statistically slight increase in the rates of cardiovascular events on the Monday and Friday following the spring DST transition. "

Move it ahead an hour Sunday after Turkey Day. The kids will have to use their phones
as flashlights instead of walking to school or school bus with nose in /texts / Game or Video.
