What shoes do you wear daily?

I like skechers, never high heels, I gave that up long ago as I value comfort and practicality above all else. Skechers are fantastic for sheer comfort, far better than trainers which I don't feel look right on me. I wear walking shoes with good ankle support for taking our dog out.

I love the look of those shoes @Pinky. I can't wear backless, my heels would end up on the floor. I have very flat feet. Copperfit Arches have helped me tremendously!
Arch Relief Plus: Arch Support ...
Because of this condition, I can't wear the same shoes two days in a row. I ruin the shape of the shoe, so must let shoe rest. My feet so flat, the left turns my foot & leg inward.

All my shoes get twisted like that because of the way I walk.

Years ago, I was going to a chiropractor for back and neck pain and he told me to bring in the three pairs of shoes that I wear the most.

Mostly I wore two-inch heeled leather-soled pumps to work every day. He studied the wear pattern on the soles to determine that I had a swivel walk that was affecting my back. It was then that I noticed that every pair of shoes had circular wear patterns on the soles.

Every pair of shoes get "warped"after a while.

I wear sketchers around the house ( slip ons).. they're a lot safer than mules or backless slippers.

I have various brands of Lace up trainers ( and slip ons ).. to wear outside to go shopping ..basically when I don't nee to dress up...

Levi's Adidas..Puma.. all sorts..

In winter I wear Ankle boots....

In between I also have high heels shoes.. flat sandals.. high heel sandals... etc....

My shoes are all handmade Rose. Years ago, at a vintage festival, I came across a Cordwainer whose work seemed very good. I had him make me a pair of dance shoes, so good were they that he has been making my shoes ever since. Far more years than I can remember.
I've never heard that word before! I've learned something today. Are such shoes very expensive?

Oh you do keep them so nicely. I'm afraid I can't say the same nor have I got many.

thank you Rose, ..I'm a bit OCD about clean well kept shoes.. I can spot a tiny mark on my shoes, or anyone else's from afar.. it's just a throwback from my childhood where we didn't get new shoes until our shoes had literally fallen off our feet... we'd go to school with no soles in our shoes and just some piece of cornflake packet holding them together, and come home suffering from painful chilblains as a consequence.

As a young mum I couldn't afford shoes for myself, because I was buying the best quality shoes for my child always..... so I would literally paint my own shoes to cover any wear or tear in them...

When I finally was in a position to afford shoes for myself.. I vowed I would never ever go without again... hence my collection of shoes & boots..

Given that my wife makes most of my clothes, my hats and shoes are an affordable indulgence.

They are kept on skeletal racks at the bottom of the wardrobe.
You see that pair in the middle on the back row?

In this photo of Hollywood Royalty of the 1920's, Mary Pickford's
husband, Douglas Fairbanks, has a pair of shoes the style of
which, I had never seen. My Cordwainer did me proud.

Ditto. I like Skechers too. Most of my shoes are Skechers. They ARE ultra comfortable. I’ve got lace up kinds and slip on kinds. I also have boots with 2 inch heels for when I want to be taller than my husband. lol

Oh my….if i posted a photo of my shoes you all would fall off your seats. When I walk the dog the pair I usually wear has both soles coming off. I need to glue them. I have an ld pair of keens…which a girlfriend gave me cause she thought they were worn out. I have hiked literally hundreds of miles in them…but they look like trash
