A busy day ahead, there's a couple of rather formal meetings that I must attend. A suit would be the better option but given the weather, and being an age when a little eccentricity is benignly smiled at, I can get away with my original vintage blazer. Chances are, that if there are any comments it will be about the twenty-two inch hems on the trousers that my wife made for me.

Talk about Déjà vu. Today I am off to Christchurch, that's the ancient one on England's southern shore, on the way I need a brief meeting at work, then I want to call into the bank, before finally arriving at my appointment. "Wear your blue blazer," I heard, over my shoulder. Holly suggested much the same, hence the Déjà vu. Blue it is then.

I'm wearing this dress.. I bought this dress bout 3 years ago.. and it's such a fabulous fit, and with pockets, I bought another one very soon after. I've worn these 2 dresses more than any other dresses in my closet..
 
I wore my Blazers for the last time with a nice shirt and tie in the early 90's Jeans and a Vest now.
Sometimes hunting, fishers or Orange depending on the date. I do like the stretch jeans now over
the loose fit Levi's. Many times water proof hunting boots or Harly look alike Black boots. If my
wife likes it I look / feel great.
 
Put on long black pants this morning. Had to go out early and the weather has changed. It’s starting to feel like fall. Wore a loose, short-sleeve linen top and light linen jacket that I’ve had for ages. They’re both from different companies but the tan colours worked well together. It’s amazing how many things that you think should work are just the wrong shade. It’s hot now so I’ll change into one of my summer dresses.

That's a fabulous bold print Holly, compliments to you. There was a sleeveless dress like that back in the 1960's, known as a shift style. At various vintage festivals I have seen such a style. Researching it I was surprised to learn of it's popularity in the 1920's & 30's.

All my tee shirts are vee-neck. Reason is, I wear them to protect my shirts, be it an Hawaii style Aloha shirt, or a formal shirt worn with a neck tie. You won't see me with an underarm damp patch. Just for good measure there's a generous squirt of antiperspirant under there too.
 
A frown. I'm disgusted with everything in my closet. I've been doing some shopping, but if I like it, I can't afford it.....if I can afford it, I don't like it.

I have champagne taste on a beer budget.

I've hit the resale shops but haven't been enthusiastic about what's available there, either.

I don't like to order clothes on the internet.

I guess I'll keep wearing my baggy old clothes (big weight loss) until they fall off me and then I'll wear my birthday suit......however, even it doesn't look good on me now.

Sigh.
 
I had a light Camo Jacket on this morning in the low 60’s, house open all night.
Word on the street is 90’s again Sunday here.

If you choose to order internet first read the size chart and what the other customers say, too big, 1/2 size to small. That sort of thing so you get a good fit.

Camo was my choice today too, mind you, my camo shirt often gets the double take.

It's all silhouettes of pin-up girls. My lady thought it would make a fun shirt.
To go with it she made an outrageous pair of baggy trousers in khaki. I love them!
