Not much left to wrap!
A bit later, I’ll start preparing for winter.
In mid October I’ll have my mechanic give my old hooptie a checkup and mount the snow tires.
Stock up on bales of paper towels, toilet tissue, detergent, etc… before the weather gets bad.
Always sifting and sorting things to send to the Goodwill or to sell on EBay.
I haven’t heard anyone call their old car a hooptie in a long long time. That’s what we used to call our old cars back in the 70’s.

Love it

It gets a little slimy about this time of year. Today it wasn’t working quite right so I tried to clean it enough to last another month. Arms wet up past elbow in slimy water. Pump/filter fell apart. What a mess. Still isn’t working. I think I’ll just get the hose and drain and put away early. Guess I’m starting early.

same here..it's still very much summer hereSince our summer usually ends around Thanksgiving, I'm not in a hurry to do any of that yet.
Not here Jules, it's 31 feeling like 36 Celsius today and all of this week it's going to be hot in BC. Probably put away the pale clothes at the end of September if we're lucky. In 2022, it stayed hot until October 24th, it was 24 Celsius feeling like 26 Celsius on that day. I dislike hot weather. I was so very happy when it rained and was around 17 degrees Celsius last weekend.Putting away the pale coloured clothes. It just feels like the season is over on Labour Day.
Around mid to late December I'll be trading in wearing a T-shirt for a sweat shirt.'Closing the pool' before the leaves fall...
Putting away 'summer' clothes?
Having the last barbeque 'of the season'?
Or...
Something else?
