because my birthday falls on the same day as that awful Twin-Towers Massacre, I rarely celebrate my day.
However, some of you fine folk emailed me with your wishes and I will respond to them soon.
In the meantime, thank you all for your kind words.

Happy Birthday. It’s a day that I would bet most everyone can tell you where they were or what they were doing when they heard the news of the WTC being attacked.

I am so glad I was off on that fateful Tuesday. Normally, I flew on Tuesdays and took Wednesday off, but on that day, I switched with another pilot as a favor to him. I flew mostly coast to coast flights, even out of Newark. I thanked the Lord I was home.

By not celebrating your special day, you are only playing into the hands of the terrorists whose goal is misery and destruction.

They destroyed the Twin Towers because they could never build them.

So go ahead and celebrate at the top of your lungs! Make it a win for Freedom!...The Freedom that you were born in one of the greatest countries of the world.
