What was the coolest place you have visited?

Moab Utah in the spring., that was 25 years ago & is still memorable. We had been getting more fit by walking, hiking & working out at a fitness center. We were at Moab for about two weeks. Hiking all the trails at the Arches , renting bikes to bike slick rock, the off road adventure & white water rafting. Toss in reasonable condo rental, a Smiths grocery store to buy food instead of eating at restaurants.

Truly a place to remember.

The coolest place I have NOT been is the Grand Canyon, I really want to see that.

I'm not sure I can pick just one cool place that I've been, a couple that spring to mind are the train ride to the top of Pike's Peak, and the boat ride below Niagara Falls.
I hiked it in my younger years. Enough!

One year my boss gave me a trip in a hot air balloon over Napa Valley, that was much more fun.

Wow, some of you are very well traveled! I am not, but I hope to change that.

That said, the cooled place I've visited was a church—St. Martin of Tours—right on the beach, in Sint Maarten. My younger daughter and I were trying to find a public restroom and were surprised to walk right by it. We're Catholic, so we went in, sandy beach gear and all, and sat for a few minutes. It was so beautiful and peaceful; I could have stayed there all day.

They were all cool.

If I had to pick only 1, it would have to be the dinosaur digs in ...uh, somewhere in the upper left corner of Utah, I'm pretty sure. My kids loved it. They liked Arches Nat'l Park a lot, too.

But those are my kids' favorites.
Time spent with your kids probably made it even more special.
