Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

Some of my favorites are back! 'C.B. Strike' season 5 and 'The Chelsey Detective' season 3 are starting now, 'Darby and Joan' season 2 starts Dec 29. 'Miss Scarlet' (without the Duke) is also starting in Jan.

I'm thrilled with the new season of Queer Eye on Netflix. Makes me cry every show.
OTOH, I watched less than one episode of Black Doves, enough for me. Also 100 Years of Solitude I lasted 4 eps and was mostly bored so stopped.

So happy to hear there will be a 2nd season of Darby and Joan. Just happen to catch it by accident on Acorntv (i think) and really enjoyed it.

I was catching up with Abbott Elementary and at the end of S4 Ep8, who do I see but Cousin Keith! He wasn't credited for that episode in Wiki. Photo I took of the TV screen.

I started watching the film American Fiction starring the brilliant Jeffrey Wright and lo and behold, Keith is in that too (didn't know when until I started watching). His may not be a household name, but our cousin is one of the busiest men in Hollywood, with an extensive filmography in movies and T.V. going back to 1979. Chances are you've seen him in something. He's also done theater and video game work. Check him out:

Cool! My father had the same name as a famous movie producer and actor. Does that count for anything? :ROFLMAO:

American Fiction is a funny movie! :)

Doesn't count quite as much HH. :D I hardly ever sit through an entire movie. In fact it may take me a couple of days to finish once I get back to it. I had heard it was very good.

I noticed that too, @OneEyedDiva Diva, was nice to see him, I hope they bring his character back! :)

What didn't you like about it,@Marcy Sheiner? You don't have to get specific; it's just I was thinking about watching it but if it's too dark or whatever, I'll pass; thanks.

At first it was just kind of boring...then 10 or 15 minutes in, the wonderful Keira Knightly, (who I prefer as Elizabeth Bennett) attacked some guys for no reason I could decipher, seemed like gratuitous violence, I'm not into violence unless its integral to the story.

Netflix just recently added season 6 of "Virgin River" and I'm binge watching it. I wallow in shame and self loathing over the realization that I am addicted to this sappy crapfest.:(
I think it's the show a good friend was telling me today that she's watching. She binge watches too. I can't remember if its the show I checked out and couldn't get into. No matter, I just canceled Netflix again a couple of days ago.

We are too.😒

Every time some new extravaganza gets added to that wedding plan I hear the sound of Ka-Ching go off in my head. The budget for that thing must be up to about 12 million bucks by now. It's probably going to bankrupt that whole town before it's over.

I am binge watching Baby Reindeer this morning. It's a British limited series on Netflix. I think it's good but some may want to be cautious about it if you are sensitive to some things now, like abuse. It's about a comedian who befriends a woman and it gets quite complicated.

Update: I finished watching it and still thought it was worth watching.

Note: I have updated the thread title at someone's suggestion.
I loved this limited series (and agree with the cautions); watched it twice but skipped some of the rougher parts the second time. Really worth watching (with cautions about abuse triggers).

I did start watching The Madness on Netflix but after the second episode I skipped to the last ten minutes of the miniseries to see how it ended. The premise is a pundit gets framed for a murder he didn't commit. All the troupes are included in the show. Colman Domingo did a fine job in it and the premise was interesting but I thought the writing was sloppy and took a lot of shortcuts.

I forgot about the new Matlock! I love Kathy Bates and meant to watch this. I've gotta find it...

Awesome! Prime has it. :)
You have to subscribe to Paramount+ via Prime to watch on Prime. I'd advise against doing it that way and recommend subscribing directly with Paramount. I did it that way with something I wound up wanting to cancel and it was a PITA to do so. Prime is offering a free 7 day trial which is likely also available directly from Paramount.

We have Paramount+ for other things so I'm golden. ;) Excited to watch this show.
(I know, it can be a pain to find your subscription to freaking cancel when you've finished with it. I used to ask the question on the net and follow the link back into Amazon.)
